I loved the Walton’s and still watch them today several times a week and often much, much more. My favorite characters were Daddy, Grampa and the Baldwin Sisters. Though everyone had their own charming ways these 4 people were absolutely delighted. I loved Grandpa @ Daddy’s twinkling eyes. They truly could’ve been Father & Son. I never saw or heard either of them be unkind, grumpy, lazy or selfish. The Baldwin Ladies were the same. They also need er had an unkind word to or about anyone though they certainly were the recipients of cruel comments. I guess that’s why the characters of Grandma & Olivia didn’t warm me in the same way Grandpa & Daddy did. It was the writers of course but we love & admire as they are written. It will always be one of my favorite shows. Although, I know each & every episode well, I will continue to watch until my days end. Thank you to everyone who made that wonderful show come to life. I've nothing but respect for this man, especially his refusal to let anyone else's negativity & bitterness drag him down to their levels. I enjoyed this interview. I believe Artimus' account over anyone else's, especially anyone as embittered as some of the others became. They did him dirty and I'm proud that he stayed true to himself and his integrity.

I had the pleasure of meeting Artimus Pyle in Orlando in about 1990 at spirits sports bar in Altamonte Springs… he was a cool guy. We talked for a couple hours really nice guy…. But as far as the actual story about something that’s happened there’s only one actual story when people say that there are many truths they’re full of shit there’s only one truth… people need to stop saying there are many truths you know better than that

Real emotion at 17:02 when speaking about pulling DK out. It is my feeling and opinion that Artimus shows more respect for RVZ in this video than GR showed EVER! In my opinion.

Sadly, that song Imagine defines everything that's wrong with the world today. No countries, no borders, no possessions, no God, nothing to keep us human beings in line, no rules, no rewards for doing the right thing, and no punishment for doing the wrong thing. Total chaos, which is what we have going on. So Julian, couldn't you have picked a better song to re record from your fathers long list of masterpieces?

Not only does Leland have an incredible talent as a musician but his memory and anecdotes are way up there too. What an amazing musician and story teller too. One of my all-time favorite musicians. His description of David Crosby is spot on.
