The book is so bad it deserves a special price

Hello! I have some insight as to why the books hit Target shelves early! You're pretty much right on the money with the first idea. The books would be marked with a date as to when they're supposed to be put out, but if they arrive early, there can be mix ups. It happens....kinda frequently. While I wouldn't put it past corporations to want to prioritize profit, I don't believe it's the case here, as they can actually get in some pretty hot water for putting out dated items like this early. That said, a lot of customers were also dishonest and were checking out the books with different dust covers on them. Don't do that! I know it's tempting when you really want a book, but that makes issues like this even worse.

Well, it’s still unavailable around me. Targets were a joke and almost all of them here sold early. I walked in at opening, and then 20 min later at another target, to completely empty displays that had ALREADY been wiped out. This isn’t from people, it’s from scalpers and those trying to game the system, atleast here. I see it ALL the time

Congrats on becoming a partner! 🎉 There is an animated film that is really interesting that tells the story of Rama through the prospective of his wife who sometimes is portrayed as a villain or at the least tragic. Lots of interesting animation styles and interweaving stories. Really good for people first learning about the Ramayana. Called Sita Sings The Blues.

With book two there was a similar problem in Spain. Why does Forth Wings series always have a problem? 😂

Also, RESELLERS NEED to BACK THE FLUFF OFF! Resellers RUINED IT for the Day of for so so so MANY of us on this book!. while Target REALLY messed up BIG time(as well as the publisher) its thanks to the resellers that this book got MASSIVILY downvoted on target and walmarts websites since resellers bought up as many copys as they could so regular readers didnt have a chance!

What did you think about Target releasing the book early?

About the endnote, I think it showcases the themes of "broken oaths are not always bad" and "I'll make my own choices" of this book. The ketek is ruined because of the last word, but is it really ruined just because it didn't follow the intended structure? Why not do things your own way, without being too rigid about the rules? The message can still be there, or be *better* because it's not strictly following a guideline. Incredible stuff.

Amazing book... spoiler warning... It was crazy that this book came out the same year AI art became 'mainstream'... this book is basically about AI art sucking up people's souls and destroying humanity. It's scary... It's amazing the Brando Sando wrote this years before AI art and how accurate it was, and also nobody talks about this aspect of the story.

Just to preserve some Easter eggs and such) -Alloy of Law -(Allomancer Jak, short story in Arcanum unbouned) -Shadows of Self -Bands of Mourning -MB Secret history in Arcanum unbounded (but this can also be read right before Alloy of Law, no problem) -The Lost Metal -Shadows for Silence novella (in Arcanum unbounded) -Sunlit Man (These two can be read whenever, but should be read in this order. Also you can just as well read them after MB, but you don’t have to) -Isles of Emberdark (includes Sixth of the Dusk in practise) -(Also White Sand prose and/or graphic Audio/Novel whenever you want) I think that is everything you have not read

I think it's so unfair the amount of hate aka bad reviews this book is getting. I'm sure you've seen plenty of those negative videos on it yourself. Honestly, I don't think it's that bad. I still like it and think it's a good book!

Brandon put all of his amazing cover designs into designing the limited edition Dragonsteel versions of the secret projects for his kickstarter, which don’t even have dust covers to begin with. This book, along with Tress, were books he wrote for his wife and with her input in mind. That’s the reason it’s so romance-focused: Emily encourages him to write more romance. I’m excited to see you read Wax and Wayne! Those books are so fun, I think you’ll have a really amazing time with them.

13:58 good call! Also, I loved Yumi, which surprised me because romance really doesn't do anything for me, but I really loved the magic system and the whole thematic connection to art was great!! And the setting worked for me as well, plus anything with hood & design is great

I really liked it too... There's a lot of setup.... More setup than pay off in this one. I could see people who just wanted like a normal resolution being disappointed.... But I kind of knew the general idea of what was coming. I don't disagree that he could use another really good editor like the one that left after words of Radiance, though... Someone who's not afraid to challenge and be difficult for a good cause.... He's not the best edited author on the planet! I love these books though! This one included!

I just completed this book. Its a perfect 10/10. It is the first fantasy book i read. All the scenes are connected. The author writing is amazing, i knew it when i read the first page. Must read
