@@manlymcbeefinton2014 it's a huge commitment so do it on a game that you really love and a game that is designed around not taking hits, otherwise it can be very frustrating.

​@@DanteTMed out of the blue but is there any way to start new game dmd in dmc4? i wanna try either vanilla from that or even a NUR also was watching your old dmc5 pain+ vids and in the comments you mentioned how dmc2 dante and 4se lady are both underexplored and whatnot... but isn't the issue that with dan2e there is reason to learn him whereas with lady the best strat is the easiest anyway (charged shotty, occasionally kalina)

@ermikeng1902 >DMC4 NewGame DMD Nope, no way, you have to do new game on Normal then SoS then DMD to do NoUpgrades. (Between you and me, not worth it, DMC4 NUR+ ain't that fun). You CAN do NUR tho, go to your shop and respecc all of your moves (un-buy them) and you will have nothing besides the extended bars. >DMC4 Lady and DMC2 Dante DMC4 Lady doesn't have combo potential , mediocre styling potential, and great efficiency, the problem is her efficiency is simple, easy and overpowered, so it's not engaging. DMC2 Dante is the same on NORMAL, where guns can clear everything with gunz, while you dont need to even learn his other tools. On DMD gunz are not overpowered nor useless, you need to use all of his stuff, it is challenging to beat DMC2 DMD without items/Majin DT. DMC2 is the hardest to S rank, because it requires NoDamage which is very demanding.

Useful enough to prove you wrong is a win in my book.

What got me in the end was thinking “surely I’d get hit by bane, or shot at in a predator encounter.” Nope. Each fail I had was due to some no name thug attacking me from off screen. That, or Batman lazy punches. God forbid an enemy is more than 3 feet from you. Pretty sure in every game after asylum this mother fucker would fly down half a street to punch the next enemy.
