I think I saw the play live like twice, in my small town when I was a kid. I remember it having quite an effect on me. I still think, today, about comparing God to the Toy Maker....it helps put humanity with God into perspective.

This song was so far ahead of its time

Awesome song and great comments! I could be wrong, but when they did toy maker in the early '80s they used a song called "The Victor". I think this song replaced that one. I've been trying to find the song called "The Victor". (It also features Matthew Ward)

I never saw this show live, a bit before my time. But I have the filmed version of both Toymaker shows and thats due to my parents who worked at Impact Productions in Tulsa. And I grew up with the vhs. And I've have become aquainted with the actors in both shows and friends with their kids throught my parents and Victory Christian Church's Nursery program and Victory Kids Church. I now have every vhs release and casettes of both soundtrack, a mug, programs and a vintage shirt because of my Dad.

I owe ya big time Matt. I also prefer this to the album version BY FAR!

My 44 year old son sent me this link. He said he's had this theme song in his head since he was 7 years old....it just happened to come across his scrolling today. He has not walked with the Lord for many years. Hearing the music has deeply touched my soul..... and my prayers for my offspring continue... They all saw three performances of the Dream at our church. We listened to the soundtrack at home for years.... God is still sowing and harvesting via this powerful Gift of Art... Thank you.

What happens if you break it like I did?

Assumption brand made here their 16g wire has the same unnecessary thick coating of cables that rocketfish itself and what I see this video show similar cable where the jacket is as thick as the conduit itself. If you have a other 16g wire like I have with normal shield thickness neither white or black collars fit. I had to fold over some strand over just to make the conduit itself grab on to something - basically using the bracket to jack the wire. I would have returned these but out of return window.

I used to listen to this CD a lot. The band inspired my own music and that was a blast back in the golden age of CDs. Thank you for the nice remaster, and upload.

I am so glad that you uploaded this soundtrack. I have been looking for it for years. I saw the performance live three times in the 80's and 90's and failed to purchase it then. I have watched the video on UA-cam many times. This dramatic presentation presents the Gospel of Jesus Christ in an exceptionally clear way, that can be understood in any language. Thank you again!

Thank you so much for uploading these, I've been waiting for years for these to make their way into UA-cam. All over had to listen to is the low quality video with okay sounding music, or the new version called "A masterpiece: Toymaker's Dream." Which I never really liked. This is the superior version. In my opinion the masterpiece version is not as good as this one. It's a very rare soundtrack, and the quality is so good! I used to have this cassette back in the early 90s. I grew up with this music and ballet /laser light show on VHS. I still know all these songs by heart, and some of the dances too. I would comment on every video but I don't wanna be incessant lol Thank you again for uploading all of these. They hold a special place in my heart. You don't realize how much joy this has brought me.
