I love the 85mm.

i only have a 50mm 1.8g for my Nikon d750，now i wonder if i should sell it and buy a 85 1.4😂

I still use an old 1DX Mk1, released 2012 and it does ANYTHING you throw at it if you have good glass (except silent shooting and easy video capture), but if you only shoot photos, it can do anything you need from a DSLR, and they are dirt cheap nowadays on the 2nd hand market. IF it breaks I will not buy new or mirrorless, i will get the same body again. 😊 For my portraits I use my old trusted 70-200 2.8 that still rocks the boat bigtime.

The most recent GoPro is the 13. The insta 360 will give you more stable videos than the even the most recent go pro and can even unlock more interresting ways to do your streetphoto videos, but it'll require you to adjust your post prod work process quite a bit. If you decide to upgrade your gopro instead, I'll recommend you to go to the 12 if you find it at a good price. The 13 doesn't bring much for you usecase and the 11 doesn't record in Log, which will be very useful for your usecase especially as you're starting to shoot a night too.

I find that saying something that's funny to make them laugh helps.

Good points. It has even happened to me to approach some people because they seemed so sad (going through a hard moment). Wanting to help at least by making them smile, I approached them just caring for them, talking with them, encouraging them... And went the context fitted, taking pictures of them. All of them always ended up smiling a bit... And they are among my best encounters.
