I might have messed up. I used Valvoline Multi vehicle coolant 50/50. It’s the green coolant. I burped the car normally. Drive it for 5 min then got the red triangle. I watched some videos and then burped it again. I tried jumping the Heater core pump. And it’s not powering on. Did I burn it out?

How do you jump 3rd gen prius?

My gen 2 prius only really heats up going highway speeds. Any thoughts? Low coolant? Stuck thermostat. Water pump was replaced probably 40k miles ago. Never really looked into the problem until now.

So basically you find the wires running the desired lights you want the halls attached to, then you splice it a bit and find the +&- then attach the halo wiring somewhere along the main light wiring? Likely on the splice you just made, then tape that connection up?

Mine belt tensioner is making a grinding or bearing noise. Put a brand new one on. (mine had a grove pulley on it. Same year. Same model as yours). Still making a noise. When I spray it with wd40 it goes away for a minute than comes back

Precious info. I knew about that valve and I changed one already. Not that accessible but doable. My Prius and is the coldest weather the heat doesn’t work. I can hear a gargle in there too. Very frustrating without heat. Thanks!

Thank you, the other videos where all about replacing the entire hub assembly which I knew wasn't the issue. Couldn't find the sensor module and laughed when I saw it there on top of the assembly - only place I didn't look LOL. If it's not this one it's the ABS module in the module box under the hood. Any other suggestions since the 2006 seems to have 3 or 4 wheel speed sensors for each front wheel (2 wheel, 1 transmission, 1 in the module box under the hood)?

The smaller hose going to the coolant reservoir is like bubbling does that mean I didn't clamp the hoses well and air is coming in thru there?

This approach works well for pesky skunks too, I use chicken wire, the entire width: 4 feet attached to the structure with screws and large washers to a brick wall, siding or stucco - in particular, some older houses with skirts like a trailer....I'd use 1/4 wire mesh, this would prevent the Resilient rats from getting in too...

The video is great, but the video quality it terrible. Its letterboxed on all sides. I'm watching it on a 32 inch monitor and the actual viewable area is the size of a cell phone. You really need to correct this for future videos, if you haven't already.

So if you come across the same problem with the fuel tank/pump metal locking ring not fitting flush or some metal slots are overlapping/misaligned then just use the original Green rubber O ring instead of the new one or get one similar in size to the OEM Green Rubber O ring. I came across the same problem with the new black Rubber O ring not fitting but used the original Green rubber O ring which is bigger than the new Black Rubber O ring in size and I was able to insert the metal locking ring back with no problems. (Took me 2 hours of struggling and finally comparing both Rubber O rings to release my mistake).

My dash is saying to conduct maintenance on the traction control system and also the accelerator pedal speed location/speed sensor. I have replaced the entire pedal and sensor assembly and two days later, the same message came on. Not to mention an error code for the mass airflow sensor, which I replaced, and now that trouble code has come back on, as well. These are on a 2008 Buick LaCrosse. Thoughts?
