I'm back baby.

I'm still alive.

I am glad Montana is so far away, because I would live in these woods.

I had a short lunchbreak. So I went to Montana. The main river in town felt like bathwater, so I decided to give the big boys a rest and focus on cooler feeder streams. Fun pocket water dry fly action.

We pontoon to Forney and head up a small tributary. Dry Fly action was good to us today!

Happy 4th everyone! Today we swim up to the mouth of a local creek for a different approach to one we usually hike to.

Aaron and I head out to the Lake to try our luck at fly fishing for warm water species. Lots of fun to be had.

On the way back from a school field trip, Isaac and I hit up a roadside stream in TN. Fun stuff.

A swell day. Rain was forecast, but never happened. Booyah. Dry fly city baby!

Heath and I hit up a blue line recommended by a friend. Speck streams are awesome. Worth the effort to catch these little guys.
