My photography is just a little hobby. It's by far not perfect, but I do my best... The real stars on my channel is Henri (GX9), Osmo (Osmo Pocket) and Clive (Note 10). They do all the hard work! I just aim, and hope I'm not filming a refection of myself in a window.
If you like a video, it means the world to me if you can hit "like". I'm only a little channel and it helps me strive to make even more videos for you.

Osmo test footage, also boring... Just testing raw image quality and stability on a fast bumpy walk...

Melbourne trains, trams, zoo, Puffing Billy, Aquarium and more. This is my first feature length video on my old camera, I hope you like it. Produced by Kym Sims Camera Sony HD Editing Cyberlink Powerdirector Rendering Samsung Note 10 5G!
I drove H-Type Trams for the STA '89 to '93. Not this one though
How high is the max. compression in that cycle? pressure right before and after ignition/burn would be interesting.. What is the efficiency of that machine? Thx:)
Not sure. You'd have to talk to the museum. They have a Facebook page somewhere.
from some old books... compression, 56.5PSI. combustion 163PSI. maximum "cushion", 185PSI (exhaust stroke, as they are four strokes) thermal efficiency 23%. thats with the producer taken into account, ie, the amount of coal consumed per hour per HP in the gas generator. still a LOT better than anything else of the time. calculated to hit 52.5% with 11 bar of compression, or about 150 PSI. with some modern engineering, some CAD on flow paths etc, reckon it could come close to actually achieving it. the concept for a hydro electric generator is hands down one of the best ive ever seen... and about the only way to use it practically for anything other than merely _lifting_ water. WWI got in the way... i sort of been working on a four cylinder model, but yeah... at least, no matter what, i could set some records at the dragstrip! the TRUE "liquid piston"....
Saw myself LOL
I'm so excited I'm going in 4 hours
Thank you for the video! A great way to prepare my children for what to expect on their first visit to the show.
Thanks. I may do another one this year. Kym
@@vjkdigital Please do! Im going next week friday and im so excited!
what lens were you using?
Can't remember now I'm afraid.
Amazing 🤩🤩
No surprise noticing the date of upload this was right at the end of the first wave of COVID, I was back there on the same day a whole year later (fourth time since COVID) and it all seemed close to where we were pre-COVID except the food court still had social distancing measures in place
Hello Gill and the beautiful Pride!!
The nostalgia
So cute
I saw myself
I recently looked up what the Bridge looked like before getting demolished, it looked beautiful
You need to make the video public!
Thanks, it was posted as public, not sure why it changed to unlisted.
This is a great video of the pump and if you agree could be used for training.
Where did you find that model Railway? My Dad is a Railway buff but in all the years we’ve gone to the show consecutively - we could NEVER find it.
It's in the adjoining shed next to the sheep sheering shed near the oval. It's there every year.
Awesome camera work. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome, love the sound as the tram picks up speed. Former Malvern Depot Car before being transferred to South Australia , 354 as well.
Kyrm, I absolutely love how you set this low-light condition up with micro-movements to push the sensor on the AX53 to the limits. How is the weather there right now? It is so cold in Vancouver lol. I currently use the AX53. Do you think it is worth upgrading to the AX700. What features do you especially enjoy about the AX700? I just subscribed and liked your video. Anyways, if you get a chance, do you mind checking out my channel and providing HONEST feedback? Subscribe if you enjoy. Thanks!
xD
How many tunnels were there in the original Tunnel + Viaduct? At the end of the video there is a cutting on the next ridge. Was that cutting originally a tunnel?
Thanks for the video. Real mountain goat territory. The link to more information in your opening comments is now broken. There is such a lack of information about these major engineering endeavours
Well done. Do escaltors for 11 and 12 go UP and DOWN?
There is an elevator..
Adelaide Australia
Was at Mars bar on Gouger St. They may be coming out in around one week though unfortunately.
Hmmm! If you'd ridden east, I would have had to jump off my bike ... At that speed!
Damn I'm from Mulhouse France and I believe your tram came from us because, well you can see it here on wikipedie "Mulhouse Tramway" It's amazing that an at least seemingly pretty cool city like Melbourne chose to have the same design for its transports as our shithole !
I'm from Mulhouse too and I visited Melbourne in 2010. I was surprised to see a tram named "Ungersheim", when I left the main train station!
awesome sound track :) love it ;)
@7LovinDaLife circular quay. Under the train station.
Great quality vid :) Where exactly is city extra? I can never find it
I hope they have a 2000 class set at Goowla one day. They also have railcar 428.
they are still blue and will probably remain blue .... its a nice colour scheme
A few years old. Purchased 2nd hand. Look fantastic in the blue.
Terminus of route 96 in St Kilda? Yes...i miss too much my Melbourne...i must come back! Vinicio from Rome
What a nice cream tabby. Cream classic tabbies are rare. I had a darker orange one, a male.
The first refurb I rode on was 3001. I also rode on 3103-3104 as well. his is when I previously visited Adelaide last year.
I give my sheep a cuddle
she is a good girl that sheep
sheep are very cute
@auslaseshows More stationary images mainly. I was using lost of movement and beat triggered pattern changes, however Ive started slowing things down a little so people have time to enjoy the effect of the lasers under the fog. There are a couple of quick videos on my account of my lasers on sound auto. I have another unit hopefully going up this Friday. I do miss colour a little, but I would never be happy with the convergence, and it would drive me nuts, so Ive stuck with green for raw power.
Cheers for that, the new lasers were supplied by Auslase Productions. What ideas did you nick ?? Your comment interests me ......
Haha playful :D
@757K Thanks, all beit a little short, it was a spur of the moment shot!
Hey when you see this video you should subscribe to me. Tonsley202 and tonsleythevlogger
The Butler?
They have all stayed in the blue and red, it's a nice change. I suspect to properly respray them in admet colours would be too expensive, or they'd do it on the cheap and muck them up.
@ryanthescooterguy There is only one "first run" and it was full, so no chance of filming another. As it was a rail fan trip, no need to pixelate peoples faces, the trip was designed for photos ect, not open to the general public. In public there is no requirement to blur peoples faces or TV stations would be in trouble everytime they show a city street on the news! (worse still a shopping mall) I prefer not to film anyone, Im there for for scenic resons, not peoples faces.
cool
Good old Humphrey Pump. We go up each easter to watch it. Great bit of history. The only working one in the world
was!
@@theenginemanfromthepast. hmmm... "was" as in "no longer", or "was" as in "someone made a couple of model ones..."? theres two ICE's i reckon need a good revisit, and this is one of them. been "stuck in the rut" with conrods, crankshafts, and all the other stuff when it comes to engine designs. the TRUE "liquid piston"...
