You really started to get into the groove at about 1:30... and then got away from you a little bit at 5:16. RE: Cadenza... you could have brought even more ATTITUDE to your rendition. Excellent transition coming out of the cadenza... by maintaining as much evenness as you did. 12:15 got away from you.

Over the past year, I've heard Kalea develop more poise and command of her instrument as compared to this performance. She is even better now.

Those opening notes are SO ESSENTIAL. .. and delivered so cleanly. Shows promise.

Demonstrates excellent command of her violin, including how she portrays changes in dynamics. And the Cadenza at the end, provides her the opportunity to express herself more personally.

Not just playing Bach... but has memorized it as well. Seems to me to be material for either Curtis or Julliard.

Demonstrates extreme poise and virtuosity. She knows HOW to phrase quite well and her intonation is astounding for her age.

My grandmother's funeral was today. Her grandmother loved this song so much that it was played at her funeral today. She passed away on the 21st, the day after this video was posted.
