Hey mate how'd you get the accessories for the bullbar? Previous owner hit a few roos and broke the plastic bits below the hoops and the honeycomb grill and I've been looking for replacements, any idea where I'd find them?

Really loving this series.. good to see you out and about with the Triton.. The main reason i like this more is the fact most if not all 4wd UA-camrs or even 4wd shows in general never have tritons (is that a bad thing?) its always the typical toyotas, isuzus and patrols Yes you have them in your convoy but the triton is the feature for once. Cheers

You're a long way from home. I've been off youtube for a while but now I see you've been on a big trip. Looks like fun but I just couldn't inflict the Tele on my Triton. I felt every one of those dings 🙂 I'll do the cape one day but I'll go the chicken track. Good luck for the rest of your trip! I'll catch up with the missed episodes.

So much mud. Just a question on economy as I’ll be doing a big trip in October in my ‘22 GLS. What speed were you doing, what economy and are you heavy? I’ve found that the dash readout bears no relation to the actual economy. Being, number of k’s divided by 100 and then dividing that into litres used. No probs if you don’t have the info mate. Just seeking a guide for my own trip info.

Who makes the canopy?

My '23 MR Triton had a dead spot.I got an EVC throttle controller and it seemed to straighten out the acceleration curve. I have a 6 speed auto.

does the hotspot annoy you or do you not notice it after time?

Finally decided to buy one and will attempt to fit it myself next week... how did you find the factory plastic inserts hold up? I've heard people move to rivnuts for a more secure install? Thanks for the guide!

One other problem you will have is the tailgate, especially along the bottom (huge gap when closed) I used ‘d’ shape seal to the tub body, side bulb seal to the tailgate bottom and some pool noddle … bit of a Jerry rig but it works (Hopefully you may have something better) The other bit of advice, if you go through water crossing (unavoidable) be aware water may enter your tub not matter preventive measures, I have seen many fridges and batteries short circuit because of this. While I wait for the car to cool a little before crossing water of decent depth I pack my fridge up 150mm or so and disconnect it, tray battery to if needed. Then once crossed and waiting for brakes to dry etc, drop your fridge back down and check fridge and battery connections are dry etc.

Make sure your Seal the front close to the cab mine leaked in the middle and was a pain to reseal after I had the roof top tent on top. I cbf taking it back off. I. Bolted the kings 100kg roof top directly onto it with spacers to get clearance for the roof.
