@@rosemcpherson4930 thank you both for letting me know I was struggling last week too yall, but one thing I’ve learned in my past is even when you “fall offf” don’t restart a whole new plan continue on being perfectly imperfect and focus on one day at a time. If you are up to it get back up sis
I’m so proud of you for being consistent and pushing through. I’ve falling off because I was having weak moments and gave in but I’m going to get back to fasting.

hey im wondering how you're feeling now that your gallbladder has been removed. i need to have mine removed one day but i don't want to feel worse afterwards. do you have to take any medications/vitamins or just watch what you eat?
@@Moo_is_cute I stopped eating diary as much as I did before but not because I had any reaction to it, it was just easier mentally for me to let it go more often after that. I honestly feel great afterwards, I was in a lot of pain… my 1st attack was in December 2023. I didn’t know what it was and I had about 3 pretty bad attacks after that my last one sending me to the hospital which resulted in my surgery because I had a pretty huge stone blockage.. I took it hard I didn’t want to lose an organ but since then I have maintained my weight loss and I have been a much healthier version of myself. Now I am trying to push past this plateau I’ve been at to see if I can make a smaller weight my new normal. I do get diarrhea when I refeed sometimes and that only started after I got my gallbladder removed but never painful and one bout of liquid stool and then solid after that. That’s really the only side effect I’ve had since my surgery. No meds I take a liquid vit D but I like to get my vitamins and nutrients from food so no supplements either

Today I weighed 145.4.lbs. I'm down a total of 4 lbs since I started November 23rd at 149.4lbs. I've finally got my footing in this fasting protocol I've created. Basically, it's OMAD with one protein shake. Instead of updating you regularly, I'll just share my weight once a week.

She talks about how our mindset when we suffer can make it easier to let God do the work He wants to do in us. Well I'm encouraged. weight loss is hard, but I can consider that God is developing me in the process and that perspective can make it easier to keep going.
Last night I woke up early due to fasting insomnia, but the Lord helped me to not eat and I was able to take a few naps until my family woke up. I won't lie 🤥 I've been on the struggle bus all week, but I believe the end of this week will be better. I've decided not to have a cheat day. I'm just going to be consistent so that my brain will form a habit.
I'm learning a lot about myself during this week. I've had some epiphanies.

@@fastracktohealth 😂 So my epiphany... Remember I do OMAD before bed and during the night it's hard for me to sleep without eating. Well whenever I fail and eat late into the night and my weight increases or maintains, I get sad and obsess about how I will do better the next night. I decided to put my foot down and refuse to obsess about the night, instead I'll focus on my other goals in life, like learning new things on my job, tutoring my daughter and cleaning/organizing/decluttering my house. I really felt great after that revelation. Last night at around 6pm I gave myself time to think about my night time routine and how to make it a successful night. I'll write ✍️ more about that later.
@@fastracktohealth So something that makes my night time successful is having my favorite protein shake next to my bed. I decided to put my earbuds on my nightstand and listen to one of my favorite Christian songs "See a victory"🙌 when I wake up to drink my shake. It worked! I'm going to do the same thing today. Oh another that helped me was not tasting/ eating anything other than exactly what I planned. My daughter had some extra pecans. I said no, I'm only eating what I planned to eat. I notice that success breeds more success 😉. So resisting temptation helps me from throwing in the towel completely.

I'm doing OMAD, I still have fasting insomnia but when I woke up early this morning, I felt very energized.
Today I'm doing some soul searching to find my WHY. Since I've had my tummy tuck, it's been hard to lock into a why. The first thing that comes to me is that I want to age well and I want more pronounced muscle tone. But is that enough to motivate me today? I'll pray more about this. A strong why helps when cravings come. And they definitely come.
@ they definitely do, today I’m doing well but Mondays are my busy day as you all might know by now. Tomorrow may be tough but I’ll have Wednesday waiting for me Thursday-Saturday with my husband off will be the real challenge. Take some time and think it through! It definitely is a focus we should have before us. I want to be a good steward over my body and time and also I want to live as healthily as I can for as long as I need. Fasting produces the disciple I need to live the life I desire.

Starting rolling fast for the next 7 days. Today (Dec1) is my feast day.
Today is December 1st, I weighed at 148.6, exactly 0.8lbs lower than when I started before Thanksgiving. My goal is to eat OMAD with a protein shake snack for the next week. I'm seriously thinking about having a cheat day once a week where I eat healthy favorites like mango, popcorn and roasted peanuts. I think that could help me keep going. I'm expecting this to be a challenging week, so that's why I'm only taking it one week at a time. Getting into a routine can be hard.
