George Gindo reprises Jan Dashto's "Gashiq Gashiq" forty years since its release on "Ishtar" album in 1982. Both Chicagoan Assyrians, home to the largest Assyrian recording artists and A-lister musicians, Dashto's then thriving pop dance beat song was written by another Chicagoan, the late Nashat Younan, who also wrote songs like "Libbakh Kapora" for King Biba (Edward Yousip).
