Hi! They are sort of exposed to the FL rain. They re under an overhang, but they do get some rain depending on the intensity. The overhang does help.

TYSM! No, I don’t plan to hang plants from the pergola. The rainy season here in Florida can be quite unpredictable. I won’t have time to take it down in case of a storm. I was thinking about making a succulent wreath to hang from the pergola, but I would face the same problem.

TYSM I really appreciate it! These gutters are under an overhang. They get a lot of sun during the day. I would say more than six hours. Some succulents get too much sun and I have to move them to gutters I have in the back which get less sun. When it rains, they only get water if the rain is at an angle. But, they definitely get more than six hours of sun.

@@Ok-dw4gz they are similar to the gutters you put around your house. You can get them at Home Depot or a similar type store. My husband drilled four holes in the bottom for drainage. I added soil and planted beautiful succulents.

@@lornadunne526 I misunderstood. I do not like the lizards. Deathly afraid of them. I love succulent cuttings! they do not eat the succulents. They eat bugs and other unwanted stuff off of the succulents so they serve a good purpose.

TYSM for being here! Yes, that’s a tulip on the left but not totally certain about the one on the right. After a while you acquire so many plants you forget all the names. lol 😎

@@itsasucculentthing6073: I can definitely relate to forgetting succulent names. I have some decorative pots, though I don’t think I have as many as the gorgeous ones you’ve shown in a few of your videos. Most of my succulents are in nursery pots that I’ve saved from online vendors, mainly Succulent Market and Mountain Crest Gardens. Anyway, I use scotch tape to create plant labels on the nursery pots. I write the succulent name, the vendor, and the purchase/arrival date. Then I also have a spreadsheet with that same information. I primarily use the spreadsheet to track when I last watered each plant because I keep my collection indoors for the winter. I have close to 325 succulents, so-needless to say-I am so thankful for the spreadsheet.

My cuttings are awesome TYSM for asking! They all rooted and are in succulent gutters and pots. I plan to order more. Don’t be afraid to order succulent cuttings at all. They’re fabulous! I order them from several vendors. I’ll be honest that I didn’t know what ASMR is but looked it up. I didn’t know it was so popular. I’ve been told my voice sounds like a recorded message. I am glad I found the succulent world as well although I found it late. I had no idea these things existed until moving to FL. They are absolutely gorgeous and beautiful in every way. They truly make me happy! there are many varieties that I am still learning about. MCG is my go to as well but I do shop with other reliable online succulent vendors. I love how they make me feel when I receive an order. It’s like opening 30 separate gifts! I am definitely having fun with them and they could never disappoint me.
