Fisk is clearly using the story of how he killed his father in order to manipulate Dex. But considering what we know of his childhood from flashbacks in season 1, I wonder how much of what he describes of his childhood is true. I want to say most of it, because we do know that Bill Fisk was very controlling and abusive. And from what we see of him, it's not too much of a stretch to think that Bill didn't let Wilson pursue girls or venture too far out of Hell's Kitchen.
If Daredevil Born Again doesn't deliver the same shit Daredevil delivered for 3 seasons, then i'm going to be dissapointed and put my fond memories of this show in the trash
Okay, I know Julie agreed to help because she's kind and compassionate, but not gonna lie, I think it was also a tiny bit because she found Dex physically attractive. If a gut as hot as Dex came up to me and apologized for stalking me while begging for help in such a sincere manner, I'd give him a second chance too.
this portrayal is so close to comic-canon ugh it's so good. they weren't afraid of the source material and born again is gonna be even better now tht they have more freedom. cannnnnot wait for march.
It's funny how both Daredevil movie and show end with Bullseye wounded in a surgery room, leaving obvious signs about the story being continued, but after that, they get cancelled and nothing else happens after that Cliff-hanger scene.
It was crazy to me, that Fisk had the same issue with Julie that People had with Vanessa and him. Yet he still went out of his way to take the exact extremes that he himself wanted to avoid.
0:40 That's actually a callback. In season 1, Owlsley said something very similar to Fisk following Detective Blake's death regarding the matter of Carl Hoffman as a loose end: Owlsley: "This guy, Hoffman, how much does he know?" Fisk: "We're taking care of it, Leland." Owlsley: "Well, that fills me with warm comfort. The situation's being handled, all right. Just not by you."
Fisk is taking a play from Leland's play book, leland tried to kill vanessa because wilson was dating her he was distracted from the job fisk is doing the exact same thing to dex good to see he can learn a thing or two from his enemies
1:38 Notice how in this wide shot they make sure you notice that Fisk's eyes are almost at about the same level as Dex. He isn't towering over Dex. Visually, it highlights how Fisk is tailoring himself to appeal to Dex as an equal to wind him up. Though his eyes are a smidge higher than Dex's, highlighting that he's very much the one in control of him.
0:54 Proof that Fisk intended for this encounter to happen. It's obviously that what really happened is that Fisk's people bribed Julie to take the job, and used the promise of a lot of money to make it happen.
Dex's story is sad, because he just wanted to love Julie and maybe get married and have a family with her, where he wouldn't feel alone anymore. Fisk took all of that from him.
Oh ist das schöööön, so, so wonderful and fantastic. Thank you so much my dear friend Minoru... Dear weekend greetings from Switzerland, your friend Hans-Peter
Ugh ppl saying That this "humanises" bullseye Dose not know the character of bullseye AT ALL! He enjoys killing wtf did they do to my babygirl?! Mcu ruins everything
But he enjoys killing on the show too? Just look at him smiling to himself after he commits mass murder at the office. Dude murdered his baseball coach when he was a child. The point here is that he spent most of his life working hard with his therapist to keep his mental instability in check and lead a mostly functional life, but due to Fisk sabotaging all that, he spins out of control and gives into his baser psychotic impulses.

Matt: "Unlike you and Fisk, it's only 100 with me"
Is there any case of IRL Stalkers having redemption like this. It looks like something out of fiction

Esta pelicula es una obra de arte.
