Ill never forget seeing steve with the dixie dregs at chicagofest in the early 80’s. This is awesome. What a fantastic musician. Beautiful interpretation…he told rick beato he was having trouble with his alternate picking due to arthritis i believe but clearly if he leaned into a more laid back version of himself he might take his playing to a whole nuther level altogether…American treasure. Love how “relic’d” his guitar is. Lol

People are hungry for melody, not so much with R&R noise. RIP Jeff Beck.

I've been playing electric guitar for over half a century. Beck has been a hero of mine since forever. Those slow country songs are such fun to riff on. It brings to mind an instrumental version of Sweet Dreams by Roy Buchanan.

"Inimitable and Brilliant " indeed. I am so privileged to have spent a few magic moments with JB over the years. In the 70s would come by the recording studios we used in Smarden Kent, UK,.... nearby his house....just hanging out....every other day. Then in Rome (1989 i think) we met up briefly when he played with Terry Bozzio (drummer) who i knew from a previous tour. Such precious memories of such a wonderful guy. Rip JB❤
