The playerbase has definitely dwindled lately, but when there's seasonal events, there's quite a few players! I unfortunately never see it reach over 20-30 anymore, and usually it only sits at less than 10 players :(

Yesssss the lore and fantasy aspects in this series were crazy to me as a kid! You never really see it in younger children's media nowadays. I'd totally recommend it, as I think most of the episodes are on youtube in some way. A few may be in different languages or some may have the audio a little out of sync, but they're still watchable!

Absolutely! I've also got some tips for you if you need them. Keep in mind though, this next part is a bit of a bloated list of tips, and I have no idea how far you are in the playthrough as of now or how much of this you already know, so please feel free to ignore! As you may already know by this point, Smeargle is not what you would call a "great" Pokemon. It's got pretty bad stats, and it usually just learns sketch by level up every ten levels or so, and no tms. Now with the randomizer, chances are good you'll learn at least a few attacking moves by the end of the game, but if you're struggling with learning decent moves later down the line, learning how to avoid conflicts may be your best bet for surviving difficult dungeons. For instance, in destiny tower, the hardest dungeon in the game, the best Pokemon to use is typically Smoochum. Why? Because it gets a room clearing move in powdered snow, a stab in confusion, and moves that cause sleep and confusion, all of which can be obtained early on. However, for as good of a Pokemon as it is, it can't eat very many hits from later floors in the 80-90 range. As a result, learning to avoid conflict is often your best bet for surviving the most difficult floors. Here's a few tips I can offer: 1. Make the most of status moves. You're pretty lucky that Molly knows spore. It's about as good as dark void in terms of accuracy. It's just usually on much worse pokemon like Paras. Putting a room to sleep and then running away is a great way to avoid taking hits. Confusion and paralysis are also great choices as they can disable opponents from attacking long enough for you to escape. 2. Make the most of your items. Items are essential to destiny tower runs because, like I said before, most Pokemon can't take many hits by the last few floors. So if you use items wisely, you can avoid many conflicts altogether. Good items for you will be: *Seeds* : Stun seeds are some of the best in the game. If you throw one at an enemy, and as long as an opponent isn't damaged, they'll stay paralyzed forever (excluding bosses). If you use a stun seed on a opponent in front of a hallway and you have several opponents chasing you, you can even use a stun seed to block off that hallway by turning a Pokemon into a road-block. Sleep, x-eye, and totter are all great too. *Stat boosting items* : you'll probably want to pump any stat boosting items you get into Smeargle, as it is an incredibly weak Pokemon. Also, if you find any sitrus berries, and you eat them at full health they *permanently* increase your health. It may help you to farm them if you find a dungeon with an abundance of them lying around. *Orbs* : your best ones are ones like foe-hold and foe seal, but most orbs can help you survive an encounter if you use them wisely. *Warp scarf* : warp scarves are God sent items for difficult dungeons. They save your belly because you don't have to walk as far to explore, and you can equip it to warp away from enemies, but a few things to keep in mind about using a warp scarf: firstly, you will need to find one. Secondly, if you equip it to escape from enemies, you will need to wait a few turns before it activates. Thirdly, be sure to take it off when you don't want to be randomly warping. Finally, you don't need to wear it all the time, just in any situations where you're trying to save your belly or escape from enemies that are too strong. *X-ray specs* : x-ray specs are an extremely useful item to avoid conflict with because they allow you to see every enemy all at once on the map. After all, you don't have to get into a fight you see coming from a mile away. It has the added bonus of showing you all items too, which can also reveal kekleon shops. It's not uncommon in really good destiny tower runs to have both a warp scarf and x-ray specs and switch between the two. Also, I find that keeping at least two Oran berries, two big apples, two max elixirs, and two reviver seeds in your bag at all times is just a good rule of thumb If you take one thing away from my ramblings above, let it be this: your survival depends not on what you don't have, but using what you do. Make the most of your resources and they will make your life a lot easier. 3.Move wisely: In later PMD games, you can use a regular a button attack to reveal a trap without activating it. I'll be honest, I don't quite remember if that works in EOS, but I can tell you that you're going to want to avoid grudge traps at all costs. They are probably the worst of all of them next to summon traps and sticky traps. I recommend sticking to the edges of the room. While this doesn't guarantee you don't hit a trap, I find most traps spawn closer to the middle of the room. 4. Level up where you can. If you find a dungeon with decently easy opponents that give good exp, take some time to grind. Not a ludicrous amount, just enough to give you an edge on your opponents. Marowak dojo is an option if the randomizer doesn't ruin it. 5. Invest in your IQ I've watched a lot of these randomizer runs, and I've noticed that wonder gummies are very common. As a Smeargle, you have the IQ ability "Stair sensor". This mixed with the x-ray specs can help you blow through dungeons extremely quickly. Smeargle also gets all terrain mover, which gives you more movement options, but keep in mind, both of these are late game IQ abilities, which means you'd have to grind if you wanted them during the main story. But as nice as they are, they aren't necessary! 6. Struggle is a valid option: Let's say later down the line, you get extremely unlucky and have no good moves. Struggle is a valid option. It does recoil, yes, but it has no pp, is typless so it can hit anything, and has decent power if you buff your stats enough. All you have to do is stand in place for a few turns and burn all your PP (this can be done faster by deleting unnecessary moves) You can offset the damage by your natural healing, let your partner do most of the heavy lifting, and bring a spare weather orb if you're worried about chip damage. Anyways, this is comment is getting a bit long, and you may or may not know half of these things already. Feel free to ignore them if they aren't helpful. I still can't wait to see how you do, and I'll offer tips where I can! Edit: I also forgot to mention one very important item: *Pebbles and rocks* : they're a great way of doing decent damage from afar. You can use them to chip down your opponent. Let's say you know an opponent will only be eliminated by using two moves on it. Well, if you use a rock, you can effectively save PP by chipping it down and *then* hitting it. Rocks can even be a good option when attacking an opponent directly in front of you under the right circumstances, like running out of PP.

I never have much luck when it comes to one shot orbs and I’ve always been under the impression that they don’t work with outlaws. But I’ll keep that in mind for future reference!
