MFC Collab Railfanning Day on The NS Chicago Line In Millbury, OH. - 6/29/2024

Finally.. here's my POV and most of my videos from the MFC collab that has taken place about a month ago down around the Northwest Ohio area, but these videos in this comp were only from day 2. And I have taken some videos on day 1, but I have unfortunately lost those videos (although they were kinda mid anyway), but I also done some crossing tour videos during the 1st day, in which those videos I haven't lost, and those should be uploaded on Monday.
But with that said, some of y'all on here may be wondering, what exactly is the MFC and why was there a collab? Well, the MFC is an acronym for the Michigan Foamer Central, which is a foundation in the Michigan Railfanning community that DK, Me, Cheech, and a few others have formed, which also provided means of us and a lot of other railfans around the area to get together, discuss things and travel out, and to overall have fun. And this trip marks the 1st annual trip that this foundation will do, which takes place on this June morning in Millbury Ohio on the NS Chicago Line (which was the 2nd out of 2 days, and the 1st day took place in Fostoria and Deshler Ohio). And during this day, I'd say we caught some decent stuff. Not the best, but not the worst day in Millbury either. This was mainly for all of us to get together and have fun, and to also see what's out there. (But to list off some highlights, this movie features an Amtrak Phase VI ALC-42 leading at the beginning, an Amtrak P42 with a really nice K5LA (as well as a crossing gate slamming the ground before that part lol), an NS Whiteface Dash 9, a BNSF SD70ACe duo on a coal train, lots of DPUs, other older stuff, a sprinkle of shenanigans, and more..)

This crossing probably goes back to atleast the 70s, probably early 60s or even 50s. They do not do cantilevers like that anymore with the wildly spaced out lights. im surprised they didnt cut the power off for this one. Whenever it does get taken out (and it probably will soon) I do hope these signals get donated and not just thrown on the scrap pile at the local yard. Opposing signal is definetly newer, late 80s at the earliest. Curiously it had a brand new ENS sign on it. Ah the days without the crappy dotted LEDs that go dead in random spots within 5 years.
Do note we don't pronounce the second e in Bellefontaine so it's legitimately just bell - fountain ( everyone in town would have corrected you ). If you ever see the fellow in the grey jacket and you would like for him to step out of your shot or for him to stop doing something just let him know. I won't mind.

Thats very odd, I thought they would remove the signals as well when the road was taken out. Its cool that they are still there though

When i toured that a while ago, there was no bell on the first mass, as it seemed like it had gotten knocked off, as there were wires sticking out from the base of whatever bell was there.
