Hi Jenny! So what name is the silk topper? Also is it light density and can I put bangs in it? The Savanah topper looks like the hair is so silky.
@@joanneleib5887 Savannah is the silk topper and she’s 130% density. I’d say pretty average for a topper! As far as putting bangs into it, I have never tried but I would love to know if it’s possible too!! Sorry, not much help with that question!

Good review 😊does the silk base lay flat? I’ve always avoided this type as I’ve heard it’s bulky and doesn’t sit as flat as others
@@user-ov1vb5fi7z great question! I noticed it is a little bulky and can lay weird especially when fresh out of the box. However, after some wearing I find the silk tops tend to get a little more flexible and they lay a bit more flat. But you’re right, they do have some more bulk than the other base types

I would LOVE a good topper with bangs!! I have not come across one yet! I bet you could get bangs cut into the a lace front topper and it would look good. Not sure about the mono, silk and skin toppers though.

I just posted a review on another piece that has a 9”x9” base and it is so good! I will post a video after I wash it to see if it curls some. It should as it’s Burmese hair!
Can I ask you something? A lot of girls have longer hair to start but I have shorter hair so all the toppers are too long. What would you suggest?
How long do you think your hair is? Mine is about 12 inches and I can easily wear a 14 inch topper without being able to tell.

Being this is a Swiss lace, does the part look as realistic as a silk base, or does it look like a typical window screen?
@@1962coral I think the part looks better than a silk top, but that’s also my preference. The window screen effect can be fixed with some lace tape on the part

I have a lace topper and also struggle to get the lace down 😭 tried the got2b glue and it just keep popping up. Really dont know how to get it stick to my head
@@tiffanybuenos934 I am definitely working with different methods to try to find something that works. The tape was just “ok” it stay in place as longs as I kept pressing down on it throughout the day

A lot of people use "it Stays" wig glue or "Got 2B" spray or gel to help the lace stay down. What color is this topper..?
That’s what I use for my wigs but haven’t tried it with a topper! This is 211 Espresso Brown ❤
I just realized I kept referring to the hair I’m wearing and cutting as wigs. They are TOPPERS sorry for any confusion!!
June I know espresso brown is a bit darker than truffle brown. Would you say it has brown dimension in in that makes it less dark. Or is it really dark brown?
I would say that it is an ashy brown, that might make it appear lighter

Looks lovely on you. I just checked them out and I’m disappointed because it’s Burmese hair not Chinese. I would prefer the latter.

I also prefer hair that dries straight and went as far as to custom order the Aura topper with Asian hair versus Burmese. Unfortunately the hair quality was not impressive, looked great till shampooed. It dried frizzy, hairs looked broken. I hate to say this because I love Uniwigs but very disappointing.
@@LM-xb4fqthat is definitely frustrating. I have curly hair so having it dry curly works for me but I haven’t washed the one I’m cutting in this video just yet. With all the layers I’ll be interested in how it looks once dried. The frizz can be annoying but I just use some moroccan oil to help combat that. Usually works just fine for me ❤
@@LM-xb4fq All of my uniwigs human hair purchases have dried super curly and frizzy after washing. A huge job to straighten them out- and then to have to do it again after each wash. It makes these pieces basically worthless for me- and I have tried with four different pieces from them.
@@lynnmckenna9934 It’s not only a pain to have to repeatedly straighten and hope you don’t get caught in the rain, especially if your bio hair is straight…ALL that heat is so bad for the hair. I think Uniwigs has a good selection and the prices are reasonable, for the most,but not luxury quality.

Awesome Jenny! Congrats! Is the espresso brown have any red in it? Does it have lighter shades in it? Lace does scare me I’ll admit.
@@joanneleib5887 no red at all. And it’s a solid brown. Lace can be tricky but it does give the BEST hairline! Hopefully some of my upcoming videos will help! I’m going to play around with that lace tape!
I bought an old aura 6” bangs and 12” length is there enough hair to put up?

What is the best shampoo and conditioner you have found for human hair wigs please?
I bought the Moroccan Oil branded shampoo and conditioner from a wig vendor on IG a couple of years ago and I am still using the same bottles! It’s a bit pricey but last a long time and is the best I’ve found so far!

Jenny, how long have you been wearing this topper, do you still find it good quality?
I haven’t worn it much for the simple fact that I don’t want to straighten my naturally curly hair. That said, it’s a beautiful topper and the lace front is great quality! I want to wash it soon to see if it dries curly- personally I’m hoping it does!

@@Clouds457 It was a happy accident! I was sent the Uniwigs Upgrade Aura topper (I have videos on it!) and when I washed it it, it dried curly! and is perfect! However, its not a lace front and because of that I usually wear it in a ponytail with a ball cap. I have not washed this one yet but plan to this week! I am hoping it dries wavy!

@@Clouds457 That is a great question and I probably need to do a video on the pros and cons one of these days! It's mostly about preference. If you have some hair to blend in with a topper that isn't a lace front, then you can really make it look natural. If you have a thinner hairline, then a lace front will look more natural. I have very thin hair and wear full wigs mostly, but when I wear my toppers I need a lace front to help conceal my hairline. Or wear it with a hat :) I hope that helps!!
