Last ride at Briarcliff, 1st try at Bigfoot
I Knew this was my last chance to try this triple in 2023. I went for it at the end of the day, but was too slow. Need to get more practice and be better next year.

Took a lot of laps before I could get my brain to let my hand stay twisted off this jump at Rt 62 MX. Still had a stutter here and there, but I know I can make it now.

Couldn't see anything, so I left my bike on the line and ran to get a pair of goggles. Thankfully the guy at the Moto truck gave me a brand new pair of 100% with tinted lenses, and let me pay him after the race. But I ran back to the line and the 30 second card was up. When the gate dropped, I was going! But, I was supposed to wait for the second gate drop, so I automatically put myself in last...

I’m a terrible starter, and got stuck behind 15 again. Half way through he blew a turn and I got around. But it was too late at that point, I wasn’t going to catch up. And I was too timid to hit the big triple. I’ll get it one day

Why would I post this?!? Terrible at starts, and got stuck behind someone. Too scared to jump next to/passed him.

I made mistakes in this race, and it cost me second place in this Moto. still got second overall, but I wish I had sent the big jump to pass. Chris was going to win either way, but I chickened out.

Open class race at Grears in Zanesville Ohio. Followed Logan up to third place and couldn't go any farther. We were given an extra lap, and that's when I was gifted 2nd place. on the 5th lap of a 4 lap race.

Watching this makes me glad I ride bikes. Quad crash damages always look so much more expensive. They always roll where as a bike at least might slide down a hill on its side.
Same. I would not want to do this on four wheels. There are some climbs they can do that I can’t though.
@@ruffwoods74 There is nowhere a quad can go that a bike can't. I've been riding a long time, in many places, and I can't make any sense of your statement.
I didn’t say anything about bikes not being able to make it. But, I can think of one off the top of my head that I don’t think you could make on two wheels.
@@Jimmy_Watt I mean, mud... I went on a quad trip and the few bikers that were there had to just straight up go home because the mud was over a foot high. This was in Alberta where the entirety of the trail was mud and even the 4x4 quads were getting stuck regularly. I'm glad to now be back on the west coast where there is way less mud and way better single-track trails that quads can't go down, lol.
