My name is Sabine Reining and I live in Wiesbaden, Germany. I started working as a photographer in 2013 and fell in love with Oman about 8 years ago. Since then I have travelled the Sultanate countless times. In 2015 I have even spent a 4-months sabbatical there, when I travelled over 25.000 kilometers and captured 15.000 photographs. In 2018 I have published my illustrated book „OMAN“ which takes the reader on a journey through the Sultanate.
My travelblog „Midnightoman“ was created in 2014 with its entire content dedicated to portraying the country of Oman. It seeks to engage adventurous travellers in the planning of their own journey to Oman. The blog is a record of my experiences and encounters on my trips; it offers first-hand tips for sightseeing, suggested routes, recommendations for restaurants and hotels, as well as insights into the culture and traditions of Oman.
