Founded by "Trip6" (vocals) & "LaC" (bass) in 2008, Urban Rebel began
to expand their sound by adding female drummer "E" & Jim BOB on
guitars. They started to tour all around South Florida with their demo in
early 2010, gaining a strong following to quickly be proclaimed as one
of the best bands that South Florida has to offer. Performing at some
of the most prestigious venues in Florida the band gained an incredible
reputation as a live act. With their contagious energy UR is one the most
thrilling shows to watch. It comes to no surprise that fans and media
alike began to realize the amazing performances Urban Rebel puts on.
Opening for bands like Seven Dust and Hed PE, it led UR to collaborate
with Jahred in Urban Rebel's first single "Awake." Produced by Grammy
Award Winner Juan Cristobal Losada & winged under his boutique label

I love how the track is reasonably light hearted then Jared comes in firing on all cylinders still trying to get the message through to the masses. He was on 🔥
This band came out, dropped one song and then disappeared. It's a banger though.
I remember back when they originally uploaded this and it had a bunch of paid views on it. As if this group nobody's ever heard of would have millions of views on a video they just uploaded lmao.

Lol. Alright. Coming back a year later, I have a much sharper set of eyes & can tell you that, these guys were clearly trying WAY TOO hard to be a mopey rendition of (hed) PE during the Blackout era. They probably came to this same conclusion themselves; so it's no wonder why this project fizzled out so abruptly, the way it did. :P

crazy that i can go see these guys play in my own city so often. the other dude is damn good too but Urban Rebel has an appeal that is beyond the need for the HED PE backing. its cool and all but just checking the comments you can see how many Hed fans dont seem to appreciate anything but Jahreds 10 seconds or so. cant we all just get along? lol
