Banyule Recycling - 90676
Here we have Craig in 90676 doing his Friday B run at 6:30am in the first clip until he packed out and went to tip off at 7:30am in the last clip. His normal truck’s (90760) heater has shit itself and with these freezing sometimes -1 degree winter mornings he’s been driving the spares so he doesn’t freeze without a heater. Not sure if he’ll drive 90760 again, it’s getting replaced in about 3 months time with a new truck so not sure if they will bother fixing the heater when the truck is going to be replaced shortly anyways. I will never understand why residents put their bins so close together and next to obstacles like poles and trees but they do unfortunately which is a pain in the ass for the drivers.

90832s swapped runs again because the old perm Steve moved to garbage and now 90833 does its old run. Not too sure whos driving 832 now
It’s confusing as all shit now. Feels like the recycling drivers are the only ones who rarely change. Do you know what garbage run and truck Steve is in now?

Yeah Rob is a ripper. Always good for a chat and a smooth operator. He and the recycling guys are the only ones who regularly chop out other drivers once they finish their runs which is nice too.
i think one of them did end up in central goldfields with the ex bendigo, either that or its just the ex bendigo that made it

It was full of recycling. It was a green bin back then, Fogo hadn’t started yet.

It’s amazing to see how time flies so quickly. 9 years later, the facelift GenVs are already being replaced, shame that one of my favourite trucks in Banyule has been replaced (90675). Will the existing flatface spare trucks stay in the fleet?

Yes, Churchy has done our recycling since I was 5. We always give the drivers beer at Christmas and they’re always happy to take some extra bins

I think 1 but I could be wrong. I’m pretty sure this truck is to cover the last Fogo run as 90545 and 90547 have been doing fulltime Fogo since the council added an extra run when Fogo was introduced.

Had a chat to that same bloke u filmed in this truck, i heard he said that there were “2 brand new trucks in the workshops” But yeh thats right that there is an extra fogo run, explains why the flatface accos have been out more recently. I’ll see if I can find this truck and get a long video, it was originally 90547 that did this run.

The run is 90832’s so every other truck in the vid is giving 90832 a chop out of sorts. A couple of times they did follow each other skipping every 2nd or 3rd bin for the other.

Nah no missed collections. Banyule never finish until all bins on the collection day are empty, sometimes they just have to work till 1pm or 2pm.

The second truck is definitely a 2006 genV, the first and third trucks I don't think are 2000 or 2001 MKIV's, I think they are both 1994 MK2's
