Nonconformance and then DMR are both basically "pending" until you disposition them. At that point, it either becomes a valid production quantity or it becomes scrap. At the moment, you are correct in that this only really works when the yield is LESS than expected. I've created an Epicor Idea suggesting that this should also work in the other direction as well when the production quantity is more than expected. The link for that is in the video description.

Hey! I need to read excel data and import it into Epicor UD or Job related tables. How can we do that?
Importing from Excel to Epicor is most easily done via the Data Management Tool (DMT). If there is a List mode on the screen you want your data in you could also Paste Insert or Paste Update records directly into the grid.

Thanks for the feedback! I have not review this super recently, but there was some incompatibility at some point between Excel and Epicor and they weren't seeing eye to eye on an API key, but I'll look into it again and see if anything has changed.

Excellent vid but I can't connect. It kicksback with unable to authenticate with credentials and I'm using Saas so the cert should be ok. Any ideas?
If you're in Epicor's cloud, I've found that you do NOT need to use the Legacy ODATA connection and that the "standard" ODATA connection in Excel should work for you.

Nice vid, no fluff or BS stuff. SHowed how to get around a couple tricky issues. Hopefully you have a vid on how to write to Epicor. Issuing material a job would be nice.
I think we will tackle some more deep dive topics in the near future. Perhaps we'll get into some common customizations that seem to pop up all the time.

Just found your channel recently and love the content! Your videos are extremely helpful, and concise. There are two topics i’d love to see your future content explore: 1.) BAQ practices and useful calculated fields (could be combined with UD fields) 2.) Home Page customization Tricks, Useful Widgets, and Custom Home page reporting. Perhaps this could be broken up by creating individual home pages for different roles within Epicor, such as Sales/Shipping/Purchasing/etc. (widgets showcasing X late shipments, low stock with high demand, incoming shipments, etc.)

I did all that and when I paste in my OData string it gives me an error: Details: "OData: Request failed: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel." I exported the cert file and imported it into Certificates. Do I need to restart? Any ideas? thanks!
