Played on a 1990s Rodgers C-505 organ. Lyrics below: Come, behold the wondrous mystery In the dawning of the king He the theme of Heaven's praises Robed in frail humanity In our longing, in our darkness Now, the light of life has come Look to Christ who condescended Took on flesh to ransom us Come, behold the wondrous mystery He is the perfect son of man In His living, in His suffering Never tr...

The Church's One Foundation (Special) - Congregational Hymn
Beautiful, as always. That room has fantastic acoustics!
Awesome playing, and thank you for keeping the tempo moving, out of curiosity what size room is that organ in?
This organ was located in a large sanctuary rated for 400 people.
Good.👍😀😄
Prayers of safety for all who are serving . Amen
Thank you for the beautiful music. Amen

Great organ, good acoustics! And of course, the organist isn’t bad either ;) The sound reminds me of a soon to be closed Presbyterian church I was visiting recently near here. Mid 1990s three manual Rodgers organ, great acoustics. The church can seat 200, and they are lucky to get 25 or 30 on holidays.
GO TIGERS!!!
Happy Easter he is risen

Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing!👏👍🎼
Beautifully done! Thank you!
❤️🌹🙏
Horrible electronic organ.
I love that you often comment negatively and condescendingly on videos of “electric organs.” So much for everything praising God? Many churches can’t afford pipe organs which leads to digital ones being installed. At least these churches carry on the use of organs when so many haven’t. If you can do better, please feel free to post videos on your pipe organ of choice. Until then, stay off this channel with any negativity. Not tolerated here.
Beautiful! And lovely view of the sanctuary. The vaulted ceiling is fantastic…also great for acoustical value. I assume the building is historic?
Yes. Church organized in 1832 and the building dates from that time.
BEAUTIFUL
Thank you for sharing the hymns of Praise with You Tube
That’s my favorite 😍 Christmas 🎄 carol.

The Lily of The valley 1, I've have found a friend in Jesus he's everything to me He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul The Lily of The valley In him alone I see All I need to cleanse And Make me fully whole In sorrow he's my comfort In trouble he's My stay He tells me every care On him to roll He's the lily of the valley The bright and morning Star He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul 2, He all my grief has taken And all my sorrows Borne In temptation he's my strong and mighty Tower I have All forsaken and all my Idols torn from my heart and Now he keeps me by his Power Though All The world Forsake me and Satan Tempt me sore through Jesus I shall safely reach the goal He's the lily of the valley The bright and morning Star He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul 3, He will never never Leave me nor yet forsake me Here while I live by faith And do His blessed will A Wall of fire about me I've nothing now to fear With his manna, he My hungry soul shall fill Then sweeping up to glory to I'll see his blessed face Where Rivers of delight shall Ever roll He's the lily of the valley The bright and morning Star He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul
Beautifully played, as always! I love the stained glass and the pulpit and chairs. Such a shame that so many Baptist churches seem to be eliminating their traditional worship services. The very talented organist and choir director duo at my Presbyterian church came to us from a local Baptist church that cut out their traditional worship service altogether. Their loss, and our gain.
Awesome! Nicely played. Any chance we’ll get for all the Saints?
I can add that to my list. I know the hymn but being Baptist, I’ve never played it for a service before. I’ll brush up on it and record sometime.
Beautiful
Wonderful! To tell the old old story, of Jesus and His love.
Oh man,..that ADC-4000 sounds fantastic!
Beautifully played. Final service, as in the church has closed? So many churches closing in recent years. We had two families who came to us from a church that is having their final service this weekend. Sitting next to them was an entire row from a church that closed two years ago. I am happy these folks have found a home with us, but it truly makes me sad to see their congregations closing.
The church merged with another much, much larger church to become a satellite campus (one of 7). Orrville had dwindled to about just 30-40 mostly seniors in facilities that accommodated hundreds of people. We didn’t have much time left at all on our own so the church pursued this merger opportunity. This was the final service as Orrville Baptist Church. It’s very sad considering the once very vibrant history of the church.
Do you know what arrangement of Ancient Words that was at the beginning? It was beautiful
Yes. It is a snippet of the ending of Craig Courtney’s arraignment.
Yes we do need the light of Jesus our Saviour. Thank you God bless you all
why final worship service?
After a long, long period of decline and dwindling attendance to 35-40, we decided in July to merge with another larger church to become one of their 6 campuses. Orrville could not sustain itself anymore. Attendance has dropped from 150 in 2010 to what it was now. After yesterday, Orrville has faded into history.
Oh no, how sad. It looks to be a vibrant active church with magnifiscent choir, organist, and pipe organ. What happened?
Looks are deceiving. At one time we were vibrant. In our heyday we had over 700 in attendance weekly. Now we are down to about 35-40 in these large facilities with a senior congregation. We have done all we can over 15 years to try and keep it going, revitalize, and grow but have been unsuccessful. We have merged with another large church to become one of 6 campuses for them. Orrville has faded into history after yesterday.
@@SuperUshistory May God bless you and your congregation as you accept the end of Orrville. I can feel the heartache just watching the video. Good news is that God remains close to the broken hearted, and those who are crushed in spirit He saves. You are so right about how looks can be deceiving. My grandma always said "Dont believe everything you hear, and only half of what you see. Similarly, my mom always said "all good things will come to an end." May God heal your faithful congregation and help everyone with the consolidation transition. Thank you for the reply. May God bless you.
I love the way you play that 1984 organ. That means I was only 8 years old when that organ was brand new! And I was born in March of 1976.
Amen beautiful I love the organ. If I took piano lessons longer than six months, I would love to play the organ. My grandma play the organ when she was alive.
While one can't beat the reliability of a 1990's Allen, the sound produced by 1990's Rodgers organs is simply incredible. The realism in the sound is unmatched for its time, and I would argue the same today. Always a joy to play a Rodgers. Unrelated to the organ, but as always, phenomenal work Sam! Hearing you play is a blessing.
This little organ sounds great for being relatively small. It fills this country Presbyterian church up with sound. It would sound better with external speakers but you are correct in that it has some pretty realist sounds, especially the principals.
Brilliant!
Agreed, one of the great hymns that should stand the test of time. That old Allen sounds better than it has any right to! Thanks for your posts.
Anotha one 🚨🚨🚨
Fire 🔥🔥
This is a cheerful hymn, I am going to check if this is in Mission Praise.
Play come to my father's house.
very cool, would recommend 👍👍👍
Wonderful playing. Hope you will still be posting content. Enjoy your music.
That church ⛪ organ and those church 🛎 bells were absolutely wonderful to listen 👂 to!!😊😇
don't need a song "leader" on mic if choir is present!
If you have a strong, confident choir, sure. If not, there does need to be someone there. Unfortunately we fall into the second category.
lovely ADC Allen organ thank you for playing
Awesome job as always for Military Appreciation Day at Clemson. This is my favorite gameday experience every year.
Oh wow!! This is a beautiful song.
Beautiful! "We are more than conquerors through him...".
Sam, I'm hard of hearing. I didn't hear no telephone 📞 ringing. Between you and the organ player. Everything went very well.
Love that song!
