Wow the communist dictator allowed them to use old Chinese motifs? How brave. Empty program, using Chinese elements long forbidden and forgotten in China. Deception.
I never really gave Sui and Han a lot of attention (I don’t know why), but after watching this highly artistic exhibition number to Hero (a film I watched last semester for my East Asian Cinema class), all I can say is “WOW”!!! Maybe I’ll start watching them more often now
wonderful to present our culture. They have given many western inspired exhibitions.Time for another Chinese themed number.I think this is a teaser for Beijing 2022.Boyang Jin and Peng/Jin also gave chinese themed exhibitions in this gala.
wenjing jin they need to skate, whether it be the Free Skate or the Exhibition, to the song Lovers from House of Flying Daggers soundtrack. Sung by Kathleen Battle, an American opera singer, it’s simply a beautiful piece of music. Marin Honda, one of Japan’s many figure skaters, had it as her Free Skate for this season.
FIRST浪 its an exhibition, the first time their doing it, and it’s supposed to represent their culture so yeah saying figure skating “doesn’t have to be that complicated” is kind of rude don’t you think.
@@leah___v I suppose I was not rude expressing my view that the exhibition program alone is way too [quotation mark]complicated[quotation mark], bit all over the place and, therefore, rather misrepresents our culture... you should've said PLEASE or "excuse me" before commenting, don't you think XD/// blimey...
Excuse me but you are the one being rude by calling this performance messy and "complicated" in the first place. The quotation mark does not change the vicious nature of your comment. Also it is not for you to judge whether their performance is a fair representation of their and [quotation mark] your [quotation mark] culture. It's an exhibition. People do all kinds of things in exhibitions. Just chill and be respectful to the athletes. Ohhhhhhh and PLEASE since it's so important to you :D. @@cicichen3037 hey, if you truly lack such intelligence to figure out the "PLEASE" and "Excuse me" remarks I'd made, you would have a second thought to have written an essay expressing your stupidity... you can't see the difference between one expressing own view and being rude, that does not exclude you from being rude yourself labelling others with different views other than yours! you surely need barking out loud to cover up the fact you have got such ill mind and unbearable nature of hearing different voices XD
@@first8956 Holy crap you are right!! I was being rude to you because that was the idea and you totally deserved it! You are so intelligent to finally have figured it out. Good boy! Good job!! Who's a good boy? You want a treat? XD
Isn't she beautiful and he wonderful? While I personally don't care much about the music the choreo is marvellous. Ice dance inspired, it even feature a dance lift. They should drop a twizzle in there somewhere. This approach - do pairs with more art and dance-like elements, may work for them going forward. They did win this 4CC with a strong dance inspired choreo even with Sui injury and overall unpreparedness. Certainly sets them apart from the crowd. It can be called Chemistry Maximus.
❤🎉❤
Очень люблю эту пару, но в этом номере главный оказался веер ⛸
別有風格.好!
Завораживает...
This is art on ice! Amazing!!!!
Hey Rivka Stock, what did you make of the opening ceremony at 2008 Beijing Olympics?
Wow the communist dictator allowed them to use old Chinese motifs? How brave. Empty program, using Chinese elements long forbidden and forgotten in China. Deception.
go fk urself, idiot
you're truly ignorant and stuck in the maoist past.
They always bring something new and fantastic to the stage! I love this couple! ❤️
2:40 reminds me of Meryl Davis and Charlie White’s amazing lift from Phantom of the Opera. I love this Sui and Han-they are in a class of their own.
The rolling around bit at the end made me smile. This programme is iconic!

The ending is so weird!?

Deception. Communism erased this culture dear
Simply fantastic!
énorme performance ils interprètent ce thème à la perfection! De l'originalité, de la recherche travail énorme! Ils font un bien fou au patinage!
FYI the ending was not choreographed. He messed up and they literally just rolled with it until the music stopped.
omg~ I would have never known....
i knew something was off.in an interview, wenjing said he suddenly changed something towards the ending which confused her.
Sui and Han bring pairs event into another world!
