This is solid advice. Job hopping is KEY to get the pay you want...in ANY FIELD. Do a great job while you're there, but never be afraid to move around. Your loyalty should always be to yourself!

I felt the same way whenever I worked in urology. It was crazy busy and people kept quitting left in right. We barely got lunches, and the schedule was 100 something patients and they would double and triple work patients on that schedule. I prefer a specialist because they focus on one thing compared to a pcp office. But not all specialties are easy some are crazy. I now work in midwives and I like it minus my coworker. I actually applied to some primary care places but now I don’t think I would wanna work there after seeing this video lol

It is not worth it if you are trying to make a good amount of money. Only good if you need patient care hours for school

I graduate in September 2024 girl I don’t do females I’m antisocial I just want to be in and out and find a way to double my pay so I’m thinking about being a travel M.A.

I am not cma, I’m a medical technologist for four years, started in peak Covid. I can confirm in the medical field there is nothing wrong with leaving for a better paying job. I have done it twice already and am finally in a good position. Your loyalty should depend on your company’s loyalty to you and your needs.

I’m a new medical assistant who is doing a career change and wanted to get my feet wet. The only thing I can say I don’t like about being a medical assistant is the Monday through Friday hours. So I’m actually switching from a clinic to an urgent care where there is 12 hour shifts. I’ve also heard that you can make more money as a medical assistant by stacking your certifications such as CPT etc etc I’m even going to grab a CNA cert so that if need be I can pick up hours in a ER as PRN.
