Stayed in Brunswick for 2 mos ( didn't make it) not much of a city but Jekyll and St. Simons Island are decent. And yes, cheap. I can still remember that posh country club in Jekyll where I had a fancy avocado toast breakfast for $30. I thought it was cheap given how fancy the place was. The best job you can get in Brunswick is Federal Law Enforcement.

As someone who was a navy brat and grew up in Camden county for over half my life; STAY AWAY FROM THE OAKS. They have shootings/find dead folk all the damn time. Best neighborhoods I can recommend is Mariners Landing, The Meadows, The Lakes, Green acres, and crooked river area are the most quiet and low crime.

So far, I have learned so many things about Brunswick, Georgia who knows nothing about Atlanta from her channel. I am understanding the barriers St Simon, St lil Simon, Jakell and one other that I cannot recall. (Please correct me in the comments so I can learn myself of these areas) It’s a very small and historic town that is right in between to major cities which is Savannah and Jacksonville! It has good soil for farming and gardening since it is a coastal region. It seems like you can still have privacy while also joining the communities in town. And just like crime in most states, just move with caution and you should be just fine. Is there any highlights I’m missing for Brunswick, GA!?

How's the environment for a person of colour? After what happened in satilla shores i wonder if it's safe to walk down the street as a non white.

Is there a good place to look into, outside of Brunswick, with less crime, better neighborhoods, decent house costs? I'm looking at a position with Gulfstream aviation down there. They have locations in Brunswick and Savanah. Thank you.
