@GhostofTerra would say that the Suit protects you guaranteed, but it's still possible you won't sustain a cut, injury, or worse from the shrapnel of the explosion

Reality has been very painful for my DayZ character, but also very educational!

I mean, your Dayz character is just a normal guy like you, do you think you would be able to disarm a landmine with a screwdriver? I know I couldn’t, so I think them giving you a 50/50 shot with the screwdriver is honestly generous, and lock picks give you an 80 percent chance to disarm

With my 2 brothers, uncle, and grandfather serving, I'd argue it's not as easy to deploy anti-personel as 5his game makes it out to be. You can't just click a button, toss it on the floor and just walk away.... but idrc becuz this game is broken in many ways besides LANDMINES...

Well not exactly most mines can just we disarmed with a screwdriver without going off especially the kind displayed in day z so its bot really "realism"

@@azrail_wintersTo who tho? You have to realize the person is a survivor in the post Soviet state. So in reality what’s the odds a random person from the street can disarm a mine with a screwdriver or lock pick without it blowing up. I’d say 50% for the screwdriver and 80% for the lock pick are better odds than any random person would have.

@Madman33-nv8ht fair, but everything given there is more than one way to get rid of thoughts, including for some just manually blowing the thing up via remote explosives and depending on device you can just pick the thing up some things that you're avrage person could think of pepole are more smart than you think and some of them are surprisingly Easy to disarm but good though almost forgot the area we where talking about

@@GhostofTerra maybe just a little new to DayZ. It’s a difficult game. I still don’t understand your base design though unless you have some nails stashed away somewhere that I didn’t see. Way too many walls. You could just add an extra gate behind the one that you have already built. Not really worth it without 4-dials though. Your base is a 10 minute raid for most people.
