While I do certainly agree that you should be able to do what you want on a property that you are paying for or have paid for, If you move into a development with a HOA and you sign the paper work after being told the rules, then you are bound to those said rules. I am totally for freedom, but I am also for contracts and agreements . In other words, know what you are getting into. Obviously , the rules should not change and fees should not either, especially when it is not reasonable.

$1800 for just the HOA? That's just insanity. I've definitely heard lots of horror stories, but generally I'm happy with my HOA the past few years. No increase from the $350 I pay a month since I moved in, and they just recently fired our landscaping company for doing a crap job. However, one resident claimed they went into her condo while she was on extended travel to do plumbing repairs, and sent all her clothes and property that was in the way to some storage warehouse WITHOUT consent. This is also insane to me.

Zero shits given. If you want to do what you want with your property, you shouldn't have bought into an HOA, period. That said, if they are crooked, they will get what comes, but you did agree to the terms of being under an HOA. Most aren't crooked and offer a benefit for the expense.

I Feel there O.K if you are super old and don't want to deal with the upkeep. Having said that I got out of my condo. Never really had a problem with the board members but these people would go around the complex pointing out the smallest offenses people were doing like having a towel on the balcony or plants. the company that took care of the place always contracted the work out to their sister company that low balled the estimate and would always go over said estimate. their vans would just sit in the parking lot all day long while nothing gets done and H.O.A 's continued to climb. I had a dog like yours after 10 years she lost movement in her back legs and HOA karen insisting I have to keep her on a leash.

It's crazy that they can take your home for unpaid "dues"....like here in RI, we pay property taxes where 95% goes to schools where the kids are dumb and we pay fire dept taxes...one time i let it go to $800 and I got a letter telling me they are going to auction off the house for their $800 and the rest they "make" will go into the Town's bank account...YOU never own your house...

In my point of experience, doordash have to do something about this, cause when people who ashly live in that city want to do dash, ones there best dassher end because they are new, they can't do dash because the hole calendar of the week is full for the reasone that others dasher from another city comes to your location to do dash. This make it complicated for those who want to worck as a dasher on the city were they ashly live. Example: it been like almost 2 weeks sens I try to do dash, but I count because the hole week was already taken, and I live in a little town.

Why do you fo to Richmond if you live in fairfax or Loundon county

You can now. If dashers are busy in the zone, then you will get orders out the zone. You sit there for a few minutes and say you can't. lol you're not going to get orders in a few minutes outside the zone. Video is to old. Update or take it down.
