"Fortified" simply means, "I take $100 off you, then give you back $1" - The ultra-processing of 'food', strips it of nutrients. They then put back useless, synthetic 'nutrients'. If food is wholefood there is nothing to add - it already contains the nutrition we need. Avoid 'fortified' foods like the plague.

I was very lucky that my parents were able to put me into an early university study of students exhibiting dyslexia symptoms without the reading and comprehension issues. I ended up being studied for two separate summers after my 4th and 5th grades and when it was done the professor wrote up his findings into what he called Rouge Dyslexia. Fast forward about 20 years and you start to hear it called stealth dyslexia. The original paper is still often noted in the bibliography or sources, usually in some of the earliest studies into the subject. (It is cool to see the study I was in sighted in other dyslexia papers) Anyway, the Stealth Dyslexia brain is essentially a dyslexic brain pattern but with a much more functioning executive function region. These are the common traits: 1) A medically confirmed diagnosis of dyslexia 2) A confirmed higher than average IQ to compensate 3) A high level of vocabulary comprehension to help cover 4) A normal to above normal executive function to help bridge neural divergence 5) A difficulty with word fabrication, either in spelling or sometimes writing due to the bit of dyslexia that gets through 6) A surprising lack of difficult with reading or understanding meaning of text which masks the dyslexia diagnosis and breeds frustration Often the individual excels in areas outside of spelling or writing, often with advanced placement or marks. It was so helpful to get the professional diagnosis and to learn that it was a special "flavor" of dyslexia, one not as debilitating, yet still frustrating. That diagnosis allowed me to focus on ways to reinforce and compensate more that I already was. Like you said in the video, I feel I got assistance about as late as one can and still help with the formative school years. I would hate to think what it would have been like trying to tackle college not knowing why I could not spell 4th grade words but had university level vocabulary and gifted art skills. Great video.

My son has the double MTHFR mutation, ASD, IDD, and every symptom or issue in this video a family member has . I was prescribed folic acid most of my pregnancy plus eating many foods with folic acid and i learned this 20 years! After that and Into his difficult life, its not a good life! Especially with teachers and family treating me and him badly eventnough he was disabled and in special education classes. My son at age 20 was prescribed folate but this made him worse ! Because i found out he was deficient in natural B12 in 2022, and you never give folic acid or folate alone to a deficiency in B12, now he is on a liquid B12 and doing much better , he can't absorb pills because all those cells are gone in his gut, but we still dealing with food issues. This video made me feel better because i know im not alone, i lost my brother to spina bifida and I learned why when i learned about MTHFR.

You know how old I am now while discovering the reason to this struggle?? 28 😂 Yet, I have been always on top of my class because I had to find out techniques to let me have more time to read the Text like 4 times and of course it jumps then to my short term memory and I answer all the questions right ! I upgraded my marks in German language for example from 5 out of 30 to 29 or 30 out of 30 just by using techniques and without any knowledge of my condition. I am a dentist, a very good one, but I failed to get the highest marks in my finals and everyone was at a shock compared to how well I was doing practically, I swore to them when I try to visualize what I studied, all I could find were Plank pages ! I am now very glad to know I am not dumber than others, I just have a weak right brain

My youngest has a retained Moro reflex and I think it still is and is affecting him. I was in a severe accident when I was 32 weeks pregnant and it caused me to have him prematurely 3 weeks later due to a puncture of the ambitious sac. He’s super aggressive and anxious. I’ve been taking him to a neurologist but they have written it off because he doesn’t have any physical damage.

He also has eczema and food sensitivity. Very shy and anxious. Hyper sensitive to food textures and loud noise. My eldest also has a lot of these issues. He’s 10 now and a lot of this resonates with him as well.

Doing the Moro reflex test, I expected my daughter (who is very sensitive/reactive/ fight-or-flight ready, to have this issue. But she doesn’t. However, my 5 year old son does have the Moro reflex reaction to every test I tried. I believe they both have adhd, but wondering is this like a physical trauma thing or emotional trauma? How do we work on it? He seems like he adapts pretty well but sometimes, especially when he was younger at bedtime, he would cry and cry until he would throw up, like if I went to take a shower or something and I left someone else to be with him. He does tend to have some uncontrolled reactions, sometimes rough, sometimes unexpected, especially when he’s tired.

My daughter was at an orphanage in China and was very delayed. I am sure she never crawled. Math was so hard for her, numbers were impossible. I worked with her hand eye coordination, had her crawl, pretend to wash windows with her hands making circles in different ways, anything that I thought would help her. The first time she made a snow angel both my husband and I cried! Also she learned music and played different instruments. That helped her a lot! She is 30 now and is doing well!

What's are the symptoms and can a child be let's say normal then become slow processing due to anxieties while in school etc. Every student is different but there's got to be an evaluation that can single out the core of his deficiency. Now i am very in tune with him and I can answer anything as a prescreening for the right diagnose for him.

I noticed this throughout my daughter’s whole life. When she was younger she would vomit every time we got in the car with what I thought was motion sickness, she struggled with add or lack of focus, definitely extra time to process and conversations are extra hard bc they don’t flow normally. I tried every extra curricular dance, cheer, karate, tumbling, gymnastics, etc. and she wasn’t good in any of those and she became severely depressed and anxious and was hospitalized multiple times and her best friend taught her to sing and play the guitar and it literally saved her life. She was able to get off all 5 medications with mild depression and lives a relatively normal life. She is deciding on college right now and I have no idea what to expect or suggest to her.

  • @Rlove4547

When her interest spark with art n painting, we allowed her to used colors which causes her allergies in her right fingers. After that her handwriting worsen. Slowly she lost interest in writing after the age of 8 years. I thought she was lazy. But now i realized it must be this problem. She is not taking notes in the classes. Thank u very much.
