I replaced my alternator back at the end of April. Unfortunately, the AC and Mylink display have worked since. Like you show here, I can flip through the modes, I just can’t see anything on the screen. I’ve tried the fuse trick, I’ve disconnected the battery, I can even hear the AC compressor, in the dash, cycling, but no air comes out at all. I know I was having an issue with the AC prior because it was blowing out warm air in the heat and taking a long time to heat up in the winter. Any idea what it could be?
Thank you for sharing your experience. My 2010's radio blanked out along with the internal lights as well as my cooling fan not fully powering up. This fixed everything. You're the man.
@@T2Dachilliman I basically disconnected both positive and negative clamps and let it sit for about 20 to 30 mins and reconnected them. Started up the engine and everything went back to normal.
screen went blank, ac cuts on and radio plays music the button on the radio not working but i can change the radio station with the steering wheel. I have disconnect the negative battery i waited 15 minutes still no luck and I have to change the radio fuse located in the back of the trunk still no luck does anyone know what the problem might be.
Hundreds of people are having the same exact issue with the stereos in the Camaros. I for one have tried everything. I’ve tried the fuses I’ve tried taking the negative off the battery, I’ve tried cutting the white wire… Nothing has worked. I have not had a working stereo for 3 1/2 almost 4 years. I’ve called so many places and nobody knows anything about it they say. There’s a lot of Camaros where I live so there is no way the dealerships have not heard of this problem yet.
I didn't have any issues other than the radio. It sounds like you may have tripped a few fuses, that would be where I'd start 1st just checking to see if any are blown.
After removing the negative terminal do you put it back on after 15mins then turn on my camero ? Sorry may sound dumb but I'm trying to do this rn alone lol
Thanks I was going fast hit a bump on the road and my stereo is black screened right this moment took it all apart n still black so hoping this will be the fixture cuz like u I can hear it but I have no display

Was your radio cutting on and off while you were driving?
What do I do if the screen is all white and static it seems like it’s getting a the connection all fucked
I just did this on my 2013 LT camaro. It worked!! It resets your radio settings but if you just take a picture of it all before then you’ll be solid
