I've been looking at your videos this evening of Guatemala and Belize. They give me a better feel for what it is like to be in these places than anything else I've seen. I'm curious how you travel from place to place and if figuring out those logistics is difficult. Do you rent a car or rely on public transportation? Thank you, I've really enjoyed traveling with you this evening.
Thank you for watching our video series on both countries! We're glad to hear that you enjoyed traveling with us and that our videos gave you a good sense of what it's like to be there in person. Regarding your question: In Belize, travel was fairly easy to figure out as the hotels we stayed with offered shuttle services. I would contact your chosen hotel and see if they have shuttle services since most do. Guatemala was a bit more challenging, not just due to the language barrier, but also because some of the logistics differed from what we expected, even with the information we had. I would look into shuttle services (collectivos) and other services to get between Guatemala City, Antigua and Lake Atitlan. We didn’t rent a car in either location and instead relied mostly on transportation services geared toward tourists or shuttles provided by the hotels due to the overall poor roads and desiring to avoid issues traveling on our own.

Alister Black! Great driver and it was arranged through the Falling Leaves Lodge which is where we stayed in San Ignacio, Belize
how much was it for the boat ride ?? i seen you can fly also
Round trip for 2 people was about $70.00 USD. The flight costs a bit more, it was around $200.00 for both people. The flight is more scenic but is not for those that are scared of flying or that don't do well in small planes. The boat ride is longer but still perfectly doable.

Hey, thanks for your question! We actually arranged airport pick up, hotel pick up through the resort we were staying with. We discussed with them beforehand regarding travel arrangements! Most hotels have an option to do this if you want to for an additional fee.
