2024 NETRA RICHARDSON FARM
Wrapped up the series with a work weekend. Carried my go pro around and tried to capture all the starts. about 3:40 in I catch Saturday, 20:30 in for Sunday.

NETRA MASTERS BIG VANILLA ECHO VALLEY 1st PLACE

Finished the season with (7)8wins. 3, 2nds. 1, 3rd. Had an absolute blast at Echo Valley the course had a great flow with sweeeet uphills and down. Never heard my bike sing so sweet in the high RPMs up those mountains. Awesome 2024 season!

If this was a wet race it would have been brutal. Roots and rock gardens were a challenge in the dry. HootOwls did a great job marking the course no wrong turns today but took to many soil samples to mention. tried turning it up on lap4 didnt work out so well, 1:37, 1:41 & 1:46 terrafirma got me and adjusted my camera to a skyview. Broke my Evel visor dammit! Braaaaap.

Raced with a 101.6 temp. crept up on me Sat on my way up to Paradox, impeccable timing. Really felt pretty good till I had to spend extra energy on lap 2. OMG. slowest recovery ever. Was in total survival mode on lap4. Braaaaap!

Really fast, Really fun. Finally got a decent start but still looking for that holeshot! Great job KNOX TR awesome job, thanks for keeping us safe on the ledge it was good to have a worker there to remind us how slippery and fast that section is! Great cornerworking. 35/185 OV.

All in all great racing this weekend. Was all pumped up for the holeshot, in Neutral, duh.Fast and flowy easiest course of the year. Tim, Herb and I get together at 1:13:13 and its on like donkey kong. Almost lose my race at 1;36 and 1:53. Herbs front tire was on my back tire going through the checkers! Little bit of confusion on some Netra rules ended up with the win. Congrats on another 15th ...

Gnarly course your skill level had to be at it greatest level. Got taken out by an extremely dirty pass at the 57:20 mark took a good minute to recover. Special thanks to the dude in yellow. Extremly fun race course need to find some off camber grass track in my area that was a blast! looking foward to the next. props to Andreas Brody

Blew my air forks Friday before the race. Borrowed a set of forks from Andreas Brodie and made the race. Flat on lap 2. Wrong way 9 min in, poorly marked section which was fixed next lap around. Missed the watercossing 1st time, wasn't thrilled with that! Rode fair at best didnt have my MoJo today.

Had a nice push trying to follow 400 on lap 1. Couple nice battles specially 106. 4 laps of incredible fun. 1:52:28

Team D.O.B. Lawton, Mike, Mark and I test lighting for the 24hr coming up in July. George recouping from school reunion opted out of ride but showed. Chuck, no show. more to follow.

WOW!!!!! Quite a challenge to complete lap 3. crashed hard on lap one while crash, block, passing Herb. couldn't get my left leg back up on the peg after that. Monday I felt like I was dragged around the course. Special thanks for the pick up at the hour10 mark. Longest race ever for me BRAAAAAP!! 2:27:58. 2nd pl. 37overall.

at the 4 minute mark my rear brake locks up. then I completely lose rear braking.
Talk about a crazy start
Second time, this season I thought I was in gear at the green flag but I was in neutral if I was in gear. I probably would have gotten creamed.
Every now and then youll get a new guy take off from the second row thinking everyone goes at the same time. I cant tell you how many times ive seen it lol

GoPro just sometimes doesn't do just to the terrain and how well the riding is. Nice work

Nice job Mr. Charles! Congrats on another 1st place! This is Shawn...technically I got that top 10, but there were only 14 racers in the C senior class, so still "back of the pack"...88th overall. But awesome course had lots of fun out there...can't make Paradox but good luck on that one, maybe will catch you at 'Back at Barnes'.
What ended up being the fix?
Great start but what the heck happened? Something jam up your brake lever? Bummer...hope to see you out there again.
