I had a car licence and international driving permit which in Taiwan allows you to ride green plate motorcycles - up to 50cc which is what I tried first in Taiwan with the scooter share service Wemo. I joined some english Taiwan motorcycle Facebook groups which gave me most of the advice I got and through that found another foreigner who rented out scooters to people. I didn't have any issues with police, I was told they don't usually pull over people if you're doing the right thing and because I was a foreigner they'd be less likely to bother. But none of this I would rely on as it's been 5 years now and things may have changed, I'd definitely recommend getting an international driving permit if you have any kind of licence. I've not got my full motorcycle licence here in Australia but I would say riding on Taiwanese roads to be safer as a scooter rider.

In thought this was the scooter lane, everyone else on scooters rides on the shoulder when I did my trip. As cars pass quite close I was keeping out of their way. But now I've got more experience I would have just ridden in the lane as it's safer at speed.

This was a 2" exhaust all the way from the headers to the canon style muffler. Fujitsubo is a Japanese brand of exhaust but It had been modified as well as the front cat pipe which was 2" pipe with 100 Cell high flow race cat on a custom made pipe.

Sold mine a week ago for 16k

Thanks for the comment, Myers Creek road is an hour north east of Melbourne Australia from Healesville to Toolangi, it follows a gully and is not heavily trafficked plus has a relatively high speed limit, not too long an is in quite good condition. It's one of my favourite roads for a quick twisty run.

I don't think they make a kit for this bike as my exhaust was custom done by the dealer I bought it from they cut the factory pipe and then bolted the muffler directly onto the pipe. I don't mine the sound but it's not good fitment as it sticks out too far to the side.

@@dungeon5028 i din say they sounded the same......just remind me of an ex5. I prefer a 4 cylinder sound. I rode a cbr400rr back in the 90s.

@@dungeon5028 yes...they were nimble and just as fast as the bigger bikes......put a yoshi end can.....change the jetting and a little tune-up.....it will go like a rocket.....i also rode a rvf4......dont like the v engine sound. Too bad i was barred from taking a capacity license........

I'm pretty sure it's just the standard 4k time-lapse mode on my GoPro Hero 5 Black. I mounted the camera on a grab handle using a bike handle bar mount.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it was stock and high kms on it as well. I rented it when I was in Taiwan and rode it around the island.

So far the exhaust has cost me about $1000 I think. I've built it over time so bit exactly sure. The Fujitsubo cat back was $600 second hand, the headers were $50 from the US off eBay, the cat pipe and high flow 100 cell cat was $400 custom made at an exhaust shop and I installed everything else myself. I've had it modified a couple of times though as it was too quiet with only the cat back and then again getting another pipe from the headers made up it wasn't sealing properly, it's hard finding a good exhaust shop that has experience making exhausts for Honda's but I eventually found one.

Aw nice that's reasonable, I was considering getting a shop to just do a straight section in place of the rear muffler. But I'm worried it'll be too raspy :/ Cheers heaps!

All up it cost about $1000 with all the modifications made to the system and the custom front cat pipe I had to get made up twice because the first shop stuffed it up. I paid A$600 for the initial JDM system second hand. In my experience it's hard to find a good exhaust shop.

Sorry no this car was sold long ago back in 2010. The exhaust system is a custom made system done by my local exhaust shop. It was about $1000AU all up which seems like a lot but it's twin pipes most of the way to the rear.

Yeah, I have had comments that the car sounds like a BMW with that exhaust and it looks cool too, just a shame that it's so quiet. The sound from my pod filter intake was just as loud. I did gain power too with this exhaust.

Wonder if it’d be different if you added a decat and manifold... I’m a fan of obnoxiously loud exhausts too LOL. I’ve still got the OEM muffler 😂 All the restriction in the world. I also have a pod filter on my car. Its some cheap one. I have an Apexi one there. Just need to find a way to bolt it on.
