95kg! That's gotta be a mistake. The amount of air in that thing will take a lot more weight than that. The Deschutes holds way less air and even full of water + me it didn't sink 😅

I would highly advise a pair of polarising sunglasses. Also known as Fishing glasses. They cut UV rays and allow you to see into the water if clarity allows which is always nice when paddling.

Hmm, 'Aide memoire' tells me something about you haha, I DO think that I have found my apocalypse kayak. Also my first foray into paddling since the late 80s at school and DoE. Still two ton from the manf as well so my wallet at least won't be strained, but I'll be packing this into a second Bergen and zipping that to the frst...😂 Great review, thank you marra 🤘🙂

The shot at 16.28 is beautiful and makes me want to explore Ladybower in these calmer misty conditions. We paddled there last August and got drenched on the way back but it was still a great memory. Unfortunately we were told, when we registered and paid, we had to paddle straight down ladybower and back and not through the Snake Rd bridge, which looks an interesting route. We did have a safety boat but we were told it could only patrol one section. I think you mentioned a patrol boat in the video but i'm not sure if there were two of them doing both arms of Ladybower if you know what I mean? I would like to explore the bit you paddled too.

Nah, I'm sold on this now, huge capacity, still £200, and DS floor, and will fit into a bergen... It's my Apocalypse boat. 😂🤘 Only hmm is whether to go to the 2man or not.

I'm undecided on my boat yet, more research on the Quebec I think but whatever I do get is going to live in a Bergen. 😂🤘
