Similar happened to me when I was young boy.... and my dad won custody over me and since have been raised by him. She wasn't there and I have learned to accept that and grew knowing that my mother wasn't there until I decided to go look for her... and quite frankly I had to reunite with her to understand what had happened and due spiritual advise. Since we reconciled things are better.... In this case I appreciate her showing the 31 years man where his father is..... for reconciliation and truth must be told. Regardless its still his son....
