I would've loved to see an actual moon varian. I get how gothel would've hardly gave him as much attention as Rapunzel because her powers restore her youth and heal wounds when all varian is just a weapon in her eyes considering that's usually what the moonstone is used for.

Okay but why do I want to spin off show where varian has the power of the moonstone 😭😭😭😭

Y'know, this could still be possible. What if, when Rapunzel was healing everyone in the finale, it activated something inside of Varian that’s connected to the moonstone? Then overtime he started having dreams and visions about it. Maybe that’s why he left Corona for a self-discovery in VATSK.

This would have been so much better than Cass!! We would have gotten even more absolute incredible songs, genuinely varian needed more numbers. he has so much more reason to have been pursuaded to “evil” It also would have been way more dramatic than Cass. Sure she’s Raps best friend, but she trusts varian, she hurt him so badly and she still blames her self for what happened while he was trying to save his dad. One thing happens and he snaps. The evil goat thing shows how little he’s appreciated how old corona can’t trust the princess to save them because she’ll always care more about her life than others. Varian listens and then we get so many more dramatic scenes and a whole speach.

Me encanta el arco de redención de Varian en la serie, pero tenía mucho sentido que el tuviera la piedra lunar aparte de que mantenerlo como el antagonista era algo que muchos esperaban pues tenía mucho sentido debido a como lo trataron en corona y todo su desarrollo como villano hace que lo ame aun más.
