Incredible brakes. They will lift you off the seat and crush you into the seat belt. lol. But the rotors don't last long. I had to replace the ones on my C7 Grand Sport at 20k miles. I was racing on mountain roads. After buying new aftermarket rotors at $2k, I stopped racing. lol.
@@Dyils I've never experienced that. Every car I've ever started needs to crank before firing so the PCM can determine where the engine is in its rotation. It's almost like the computer in the c7.r can remember where the engine is when it shuts down, so it knows exactly how to start it back up.
I love the unmistakable C7R v8 sound especially the fact that when you watch on board videos of the Ford GT or the Porsche RSR you can still hear the roar of the C7R over them. But the more I watch the C8Rs I’m just falling in love with their sound.
This is a big part of why the Corvette Racing Team is the winningest team in IMSA history, 13 Championships in 20 years. In 2018 they won their 3rd straight Championship without winning a single race! That's World Class teamwork! TAKE THAT, Porsche! :-)))
I'm sick of pro Corvette anti Porsche people like you, literally after 2020 12 hours of Sebring Corvette people were very nice to Porsche on social media, the same goes for the pro Porsche anti Corvette people
@@idkwhatowritehere-p3m I love all teams, but I love Corvette the most. Motorsport is also about respect towards other drivers. They work just as hard maybe even harder.

is it a rule only two man can change tyre?
Normal pit stop without the brake change has two two mam crews as there is a limit on crewman over the wall.
what was the hose with the green connector that they plugged in to the right rear bumper area?
Air Air supply for jacks.
@@richardames9756 They install jacks in each corner of the car?
@@dirttdude yes
@@richardames9756 i'm happy to have learned this while simultaneously being stunned.

@@Rossini0609 I think he knows that. Pretty sure it’s a compliment.
1:17 How does the engine fire so quickly? It's started in like a second. I always wondered how that is possible.
Is that not... how most modern vehicles start?
@@Dyils na man, it's instantaneous fire, almost no cranking at all.
@@DaFlyinSkwirl Yeah, thats how a lot of engines start nowadays, no cranking really, you turn the key and it's started

it was never turned off
C8.R go home !
God I’m gonna miss the sound of the cross plane cranks in these beasts. The C8R just doesn’t sound as nice.
