This was from a while ago and what I could remember from this day that I went riding I seen a video of a rider getting nervous. So it pop up in my head. Don't assume this the way I interact with a "female" when in my long form videos I have rode up on females before

At the end of day it's a light hearted joke in the community. No reason to be serious at all. When I ride I go out to enjoy life and have fun.

honestly, never heard this before. I am normally in neutral, but I faced extreme circumstances at the time. But on a real note don't your advice contradicts what they say about staying in gear at the light in case someone about to rear end you.

@ I guess but that’s all just chance based wether someone rear ends you or not. You could accelerate normally, and out of no where a car could accelerate faster than you, if they were on their phone and didn’t see you that is, and possibly hit you. So how do you avoid this? Simple: Before I take off when the lgiht turns green, I look in my mirror and shift and start moving at the same time as me looking back, to make sure the following car isn’t too close to me. I then look in the intersection, left right in front of me, to make sure no one runs the light, and then I continue, looking behind me with my head turning to visually see how far the following car is 👌 really you just have to be aware always, instinctively. Your judgement is the only thing keeping you safe, under your skill. I also try to stay off dangerous roads that either have poor road quality, or poorly engineered traffic flow 👌 ride safe

@ also, I know that’s a lot of info, do what keeps YOU safe. You can take other riders tricks into consideration, but at the end of the day you should be doing what’s most comfortable for you to keep you safe on the streets.

Appreciate that. I think that's a very important factor. I just started posting my wheelie progress, but I'm on day 5 now. Its definitely a huge jump from day 2. I'll keep your advice in my mind for day 6. Appreciate it

What gear you would do it in? I been doing them in first. Just recently started practicing 2nd gear and I find it way difficult to get the bike up. Right now I'm only able to do baby wheelies in second with trying to help the bike up which I haven't master the technique yet.

@ i would always do it in first gear. I could never get the bike up in 2nd gear and if i did it would be an inch.

@@BlackedMoto Just be careful! The first time i did it, i think i revved it to 11k and popped it up not knowing what i was doing then i immediately came back down and smashed my balls into the gas tank. 😂 Start at like 7-8k rpm and slowly go up from there!
