In canada there are absolute property rights. If you are not on the title you have no rights to squat and can be removed. Its also a two party contract which means you cant produce a lease with someone elses name on it.

After they saw DeSantis pull it off in Florida they were like "oh s*** I didn't even know you could do that."

You know I’ve never really been into buying or selling real estate but when I hear realtors have squatter problems, I just laugh at it because of the amount of money realtors make they could just hire some type of enforcer off the book to go in there and physically remove the squatters, and it would be cheaper than going through some type of eviction process or the courts

can you rent out co ops?
Yes you can, but every co-op board is different. Your co-op will have different "sublet" rules requirements - for example, one board I came across allowed unlimited subletting only AFTER the owner lived in the unit for 5 years.
