While doing a bible study, I was just thinking, I was distracted with how scary and harsh God seemed when He gave the hebrews all the rules of conduct in the desert. But He also was going to do all the work to clear their enemies from them and only really asked them not to kill and hurt each other. But what I never noticed until now was how He instituted practices to cultivate gratitude, peace, and joy. He told them they must have 3 feasts a year, and the 7th day must be rest. And they had been slaves their whole lives, so no feasts ever, no rest days ever. As harsh and scary as God seemed, He actually instituted non-slavery rest and celebration days as MANDATORY, because otherwise the hebrews wouldn't do it, they were so used to slavery. God wants us to love ourselves and not work ourselves into the mud.

He can silence you with a mere glance, his face can contort into Stark canyons dripping acid corroding spite, hate & ultimate revenge.. He will brook no excuse, he will not forgive & he can hurt someone he loved with the greatest relish & appetite! He can betray because he can! but next second he will cover you in kisses of innocent passion Then cast you down, because your tears slake his thirst! He is so complex & mighty & royal & secretive but giving of his deepest inner soul..? I doubt anyone ever has He still waits for the one who will set him on fire Scorch his emotions, flay his heart open & release his great knot of deep turmoil & intense passion so that explodes from him.. but he will hate you for it But love you for it too He will banish you from his sight Then pine & waste away because your not there So he will take out his Army & put them through their paces he will wield his sword & not stop until hes exhausted & ready to drop So he wont have the strength to call you back beside him. So you have to do it, you have to stroke his Kingly pride & reserve, he needs your unselfish devotion & pampering, cajoling, soothing & submissive adoration because King or no King hes a male No matter hes Elvenkind, hes male.. They are all the same at the end of the day... lol ( believe it or not, ive only written this out here because my grand daughter needs a comparison study in emotions of Rapid alternating degrees for her homework & she knows i love words & im better when im typing them, the words flow freely. Now shes going to copy this & add some input of her own & shes really pleased because she digs Thranduil too...) Peace 🇬🇧👧🕊

Wow, just wow. This song fits this charactor so well! If you know Thranduil's backstory, a "survivor" is exactly what he is. And a fighter. Explains his personality of sterness and concern for his people. Great job of matching the video to the music, too. Brilliant.
