Only three years? You must be joking.! Growing them from seed only takes 2 years max. Rather cut the bulbs in 4 and pot right away.! Atleast in two years you will have flowers.😅
Where are you? If you are in warm climate, 2 years could be possible.

É melhor escolher bulbos firmes, pois as escamas do bulbo devem fornecer energia para as mudas brotarem. Então, para aqueles bulbos pós-flor, que encolheram após a floração, é melhor deixá-los crescer 2-3 meses antes de usar para propagar.

Pre-sprouting can increase the chances of successful planting, as the claws are highly susceptible to rot if the temperature and humidity are not ideal. If pre-sprouting feels too tedious, you can simply soak the claws and plant them directly as an alternative.

Hola, el exceso de agua puede provocar hojas amarillas. Si solo una o dos hojas se ponen amarillas, controle el riego y vigile de cerca. Si todas las hojas se ponen amarillas, es posible que las raíces se pudran. Otras razones, como el exceso de fertilizante, también pueden provocar hojas amarillas.

yes it can rebloom as long as it is well taken care and has stored enough energy for next blooming.

Red blotch - Can you teach us 1) what the fungus looks like on a sick bulb as compared to just normal red spotting that some bulbs seem to have on the surface, and 2) how to treat red blotch?

Hi, no need to give them water when the temperature is below 10℃. They go dormant when it's cold and will not absorb any water,. Instead they prone to rot or infect fungal disease if left in damp and cold conditions.

Die Reisschalenasche vorher mit Dung von Pferden und Kühen sowie Urin mit Nährstoffen in einem Eimer mischen und für drei Wochen ruhen lassen. Über ein Sieb ausspülen (der Rest ist ein guter Dünger für die Pflanzen. Die im Sieb so verbliebene mit Nährstoffen aufgeladene Reisasche ( es könnte auch ganz normale kleingekörnte Holzkohle sein) wie gewohnt auf die Erde der Pflanzen streuen und ein kleinwenig einarbeiten ( 0,5 cm). Sie werden staunen.

@SelectionLife Ist nicht nur nährstoffreich, es bindet auch in zukunft Nähtstoffe und gibt diese wieder bei Bedarf ab. Es ist und das wissen sie ja recht lange haltbar verrottet in der regel nicht zumindest wenn es sich um gekörnte Holzkohle handelt. Die Nähstoffe werden auch von Bakterien und Pilzen an den Grenzschichten für die Pflanzen biofverfügbar umgewandelt und bereit gestellt. Ein Überdüngen ist kaum möglich. Nichtaufgeladene Holzkohle und wahrscheinlich auch verkohlte Reisschalen entziehen in den ersten Wochen dem Boden Nährstoffe bis sie sich quasi mit Nährstoffen aufgeladen haben.

Thank you. I would prefer cocopeat in soil mix for seedlings or smaller bulbs. And add a small part of cocochips on big bulbs. As for quantity, maybe about 2-3 parts for cocopeat. And 1 or 1/2 part for cocochips.

J'ai alors coupé les feuilles et je ne l'ai plus arrosées jusqu'à début septembre. Elle s'est mise à produire de grandes feuilles et a donné cinq énormes fleurs rouges au début d'octobre. Du coup, elle est maintenant terminée. Je vais agir comme au début de l'année, en la laissant faire son chemin, et on verra fin septembre 2025, car pour l'instant, je ne me ferai pas avoir avec aucune fleur amaryllis pour Noël, lol.
Bon travail ! L'amaryllis peut refleurir d'année en année, j'ai dépensé de l'argent une fois puis je peux profiter des fleurs pendant des années !

The bulb scale propatation is similar to lily bulbs. But for others, I've never try.😅

En el hemisferio sur, la primavera es la temporada de floración de las amarilis, en octubre y noviembre. Después de la floración, las hojas siguen creciendo hasta que el clima se enfría, cuando la temperatura es inferior a 10 °C/50°F. Luego, se las deja en estado latente. Sí, se las puede dejar en macetas para que permanezcan en estado latente, pero hay que asegurarse de que estén protegidas de las heladas. In Southern Hemisphere, it's spring in October and November, the blooming season for Amaryllis. After blooming and leaves keep growing until the weather gets cool, when temperature is lower than 10 °C/50°F, then let them dormant. Yes, you can let them stay in pots for dormancy, but make sure they are safe from frost.
