Valley of Flowers National Park Foot Patrolling (Nanda Devi) - Protected Area- UK Forest & Wildlife
This video contains some visuals of the valley of flowers national park foot patrolling by Nanda Devi forest division staff and higher officers of the forest department. The valley is rich in its flowering species and has recorded about 500 flowering species in the area. The area comprises of some alpine and semi- alpine meadows. The area opens for tourists from June every year and contains some very famous and endangered flowering species.

A small trek from Bhararisain to Dudhatoli meadow of 6 km distance by road and 5 km distance by walk gives a mesmerizing view of oak and rhododendron forest. This trek was a part of Honorable CM of Uttarakhand visit to Veer Chand Garhwali Samadhi at Dudhatoli on 9th November 2020.

A 4 day bird watching and training programme was organized by Kedarnath Wildlife Division and C.P. Bhatt Environment and Development Centre, Gopeshwar. Bird identification and training was organized at various locations in Mandal Valley and around Gopeshwar. A total of 88 bird species were identified and recorded and 32 people were trained in the field of bird watching.
