Curious as to why your high performance 5w-40 has tons of Euro specifications when the hight performance Euro 5w-40 has less. What's the difference? I have a '13 Audi S6 tuned to 550 hp. Your high performance 5W-40 meets spec while the Euro doesn't. Please enlighten

I just did my fluid change. I used 5 pts of royal purple max gear 75w-90 and poured in through the shifter tower. The bottle says gl-4/gl-5 and says it protects yellow metals, and I've seen others use it as well.

I decided to put the GL4 MTL in my VW Golf 1.9 tdi 150k miles and it started to whine. I rechecked the level and no issues there. I drained and refilled with VW which I understand is Fuchs and lo and behold the whine went away. I just wasted £45 for no good reason!

I use Red Line gear oils in all my vehicles for many years and it runs soo good with no problems. Keep up the good work Red Line oil 😊

I have read that ester based oils like Red Line are not compatible with some rubber seals and gaskets, specifically RTV. Is this true for Red Line synthetic oils for road cars (not the racing product line). thanks

I feel like he doesn’t address (or outright ignores) the tuner community. Those that drive their cars hard on the street and may occasionally track them (or never track them). Those that have a lot of modifications, cat deletes, and software tunes...what oil do we use? I have a 2020 Honda Civic Si, in a no emissions checks county (cat delete coming), pushing a Stage-3 tune to around 26-28psi (stock was 18-19psi max), what should guys/gals like us be using? I don’t particularly care too much about drain intervals, as I already change my oil way more often than service manual requires. I care about engine performance/protection, above anything else. Manual asks for 0W20, I’m wondering if I should try the 5W20 Race Oil, or even the 10W30? Or should I stick to the regular PCMO at 0W20, or maybe step up to a 5W30?

75w-90 GL4 for 93 Nissan Sentra SE-R 2.0l 5 Speed has LSD limited slip Differential and Redline 75w-90 GL4 have shoockproof fluid well some, is balanced. This car is on the street not a full blown dragster.

I recently switched to redline oil for my Hyundai veloster n and Audi rs3. Both use 0w30 and from the moment I switched oils I noticed that the engines sounded way quieter and both ran 10-15 degrees cooler on oil temperature. Those are major factors to me. I will only use redline synthetic oils moving forward.

Is it okay to mix 75-90 gl4 and 75-80 gl4 I have a 2005 Pontiac Vibe 5-speed manual I just wanted to be a little later because winter coming up what is it okay if I mix those two and then it will turn out to be 75-85

I've been using Red Line Synthetic Oil. 75W90 NS GL-5 Gear Oil(manual transmission) for my 2013 Hyundai Veloster DCT for about 2 years and still no problems. LMK if I screwed up badly

Although I have been using Red Line motor oil in my 3 series BMW practically from the day I bought it as a new car, I have also been using MTL in its transmission. At 140,000, it shifts crisply and the syncros show no sign of wear. Thank you, Red Line! (I also use your oil in its differential.)
