Great ride/video dude. Are those the original bars?

Did you have to change to length of the throttle and brake cables?

This is a great video to show at a safety training course. No need to stop at stop signs, as they are really just a Yield sign, no need to wear safety gear as they are to expensive, and also a good idea to keep changing lanes and of course no need to signal. Also best to sneak up on as many cars blinds spots as possible.

vt500's were fun little bikes.but the vf500's was where the fun meter really peaked.ALOT more power from the same sized bike.but were only made 2 years.i guess people would pay for torque, but not for the high horse version.hence only 2 years of sales.

I have ridden motorcycles on and off since 1972. My favorite was the 1987 version of this bike. It was old enough to vote when I had to sell it. Two reasons for that. It was getting harder to get some parts. And, of course, needed some money. Yet it was kept in showroom shape and I got my asking price when sold. I just got a 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan and have already started spiffing it up.

Just bought one and am trying to bring it from the grave, finally snagged the tank which was the hardest to find. Any tips on the deep set sparkplugs?
