Hey, I know these guys...
Great episode fellas!! I'm with Richard. The game is a cowboy game with zombies sprinkled in. It's still rooted in a real setting. I understand deviating some, but adding scopes to every gun is honestly a different immersion from the zombies. I think that's not a great comparison. Because the guns are rooted in reality while the zombies are what makes the game purposefully different, if that makes sense? I have so many comments to add, but I didn't write them down. CURSE MY POOR SHORT TERM MEMORY XD Have a merry Christmas gentlemen!!
Bard here, I meant to agree with him, but I'm amazingly dense when I lose focus, and I was feeling scatterbrained. The feeling is mutual!
See, I'm torn. The game is in a real setting, but realistically, the wild west era ended either in 1895 or 1900 depending on what books you read. When I said Weird West, I probably should have said Southern Gothic, as most of the influences for the game come from things rooted in voodoo and other parts of the 1890's that tend to fall into more gothic settings. So I still wouldn't say it's a cowboy game, but I totally get what you're saying. The level of immersion changes when every gun has a scope, for sure. All in all though, I think the game is headed in a good direction. I think a lot of the issue is only getting one month of just regular, non-gimmick filled hunt between events. Love ya buddy!!
