I really love your vlogs! I love seeing your days in the life. I work midshift in the ER. I just recently went down to two days a week and picked up 1-2 at a surgery center. It seems to help me mentally having a different part time job that isn’t so stressful. I love the ER and I don’t think I could ever leave it forever but I like having a less stressful part time gig! My chickens always seem to start at almost 6 months exactly.

I to feel you on the 12s when I worked night shift I remember just like oh my gosh this is never gonna end and then boom it’s my 3rd night and it’s over with lol now I’m doing 12s during the day and I miss my nightshift 🤣🤣 but I’ll go back to night when I become a nurse lol can’t wait to see more vlogs!!

Yes! I feel ya with the 12 hour shifts feeling brutal when you're in the trenches, but the 3-4 days off each week and sometimes having 8 days off in a row without using PTO makes up for it!

My favorite rotation when working as an EMT and a Tech in the ICU: On Thu, Fri, Sat.-Off Sun. On Mon, Tue, Wed-Off Thu-Wed. The best part was if I wanted to take PTO for vacay, I only needed to use time for either one full rotation for a two week vacay, or half a rotation for a week and a half vacay. A lot of times I could plan a week vacay and not have to take any PTO time at all.

I’m honestly impressed you can go into work and function all night with no sleep during the day. I need at least a solid 2 hour nap on top of a full night sleep the night before 😳
