I am a big Dormy Inn fan 🙂. The rooms are usually bigger than in other business hotels, I like the free ramen after 21h30 and the breakfast buffet. And the best part for me, are the baths (mostly indoor and outdoor) which are open all night. I am a very bad sleeper, and when I wake up at 2am, going to the outdoor bath and being the only person there, is absolute bliss.

Btw: I find it so nice to see business women and men going comfortable for once, and instead of wearing a suit, wearing the pyjamas provided in the Dormy Inns when going for breakfast or the free ramen

I love ramen, and I could eat ramen every day when I am in Japan. So we will definitely visit Kitakata and eat some ramen there, and also visit the ramen shrine. Hopefully I can also visit the other places, even as I dont speak Japanese. What do you think on that ? I have been to Japan already 3 times and I am a very experienced traveller, so I think that I should be okay (and we are going to Niigata next March as well).

Probably people in Kitakata can't speak English but they are polite so, no problem. The rice wine kura place introduced is a very nice place. Kitakata is famous for kura storages.

I just watched your video on Aizu-Wakamatsu and subscribed to your channel, as its great. To be honest, the name "Japanese pro marketer" doesnt sound good - it makes you sound like a machine/a company and not like a human being. I would very much consider changing that part of the name.

This area is so popular that it has been featured on TV recently. Tokyo Gakugei University(national university), which the station is named after, was already relocated to Koganei City in 1964, but only the high school affiliated with this university remains. People from overseas who come to Tokyo many times may already know that it is called the second Shimokitazawa.

Aomori is such a wonderful place with the deep history and festivals. Nebuta Festival and Sakura in Hrosaki Castle both are No. 1 in Japan . Sukayu Hot Spring, Jogakura bridge, Hakkoda range, Oirase Gorge and Towada lake. World heritage, Shirakami Sanchi twelves lake, Anmon falls are so beautiful are all breathtaking. You will find other beautiful natures innHachinohe area, Tanesashi Seaside natural lawn, etc. You can eat he most delicious Tsuna in Oma at Shimokita peninsula. The way you describe Aomori sounds so good, thank you very much for it. We will spend 3 weeks in Tohoku next March, but wont be visiting Aomori, because what we wanted to do and experience there is "closed" in winter or not ideal in winter. We wish to visit Hokkaido on one of our next trips to Japan (in May 2026 or 2027), and I guess that would be a good time to include time in Aomori ? Is it possible to visit those places by public transport ? We both dont drive. Also, we dont speak Japanese, but we have so far always managed wonderfully with apps and kind people.
