How to Airbrush a Woodduck/Install Wayne Cooper Flex Eyes and Eye rings
I install Wayne Cooper Eyes with the eye rings.It is possible to install them upside-down, so just recognize the general shape of the rings before putting them in👌👍

    For your first rodeo doing a head for a catfish I think you get an awesome job. Looks like your perfectionist as well. I know you got to be happy with it before you can let it go. That's the way I am. And I like say what an awesome job you did.😂

    Hey, are you still active? I have found a dead squirrel in my garden. It died a day before, so a relatively fresh cadaver and completely intact. I have wrapped the squirrel in plastic wrapping foil and put it in my freezer. How do you advice going from defrosting/storing it to skinning it. Do you wash the cadaver before you begin? Do you let it fully defrost before beginning?

      Welp,not sure actually..They used to have numbers stamped on them,but not always..I would thin down my paints with lacquer thinner to get a better flow,and during hotter months,I would sometimes use "slow drying "lacquer thinner..For whatever reason,it's getting harder to find slow drying lacquer thinner..Sherwin Williams used to carry it,but now if I call about it,they don't even know what it is..The Taxidermy Supply Companies carry retarder which you can add to slow down drying time of lacquer thinner..Usually all I can find is medium drying at Lowes or Walmart..

    • @buckmountaintaxidermy7788
      @buckmountaintaxidermy7788 6 місяців тому

      @usmcscout0311 Dish soap and water,then rinse in water..I need to note that I dip everything in a heavy solution salt and water first thing after skinning..Then rehydrate in soapy water,and rinse..It's been working for me..The salt kills the bacteria that causes hair to slip(just like when tanning).Then I apply on the preserve..It helps for a weekend taxidermist like me..🤫👌👍
