Qual o tempo ideal para os estudos? Obrigado professor
@@helanomarques2072 praticar todos os dias, mesmo q seja só oor 20min.
Those drums sound great. They sound like Mitch Mitchell tuning...slightly timp . So much space in each beat
@@paintingholidayitaly I'm glad you liked it
@FelipeDrago yes I like it. These days most drummers seem to tune the same tub sound devoid of the treble range. There is little decay. All their drums sound the same. Tub, tub, tub. I like that timpani ring your creating...it sounds great on 8 notes...you can really hear the drums note as separate voices. I am a big premier drum fan. Their high end kits sounded like this back in the day. I am surprised you got the same sound what make if kit is this? Which heads? How are you tuning? Perhaps could make an interesting topic for your videos? Thanks
Este video es exactamente lo que buscaba. En portugues, pero de todos modos me lleve una buena leccion. Gracias!

Also worthy of note - So, the guy that stole it from Chuck is accusing John of stealing it from him 😂😂😂 typical divinely inspired original creator being vs talentless thief 😉👍
Que pena que não teve tradução 😅
John Bonham played "lead drums" from "the floor, up." He was almost always playing the guitar riff as the drum pattern. He was almost always in sync with what Jimmy was doing whether it was a riff or during live improv John and Jimmy were locked in possibly more than John was locked in with JPJ on bass. Actually, he was locked in to both simultaneously. Several such cases in evidence but I'll just give Whole Lotta Love as an example. John is playing the riff on the drums and is still able to divide it by 2 for accentuations. Listen to the authentic isolated drums from Whole Lotta Love. Its a very odd pattern that nobody would make up naturally but when you understand he's actually playing the riff it all makes perfect sense. It rocks, it grooves, it swings and is funky as hell! Bonzolium made the same connection to Johnny B Good on his drum channel. and a 1... and a 2... and a 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 and a BAM!
Posso pegar exercício do Stick Control e acentuar e praticar. Pois eu tenho o livro do Stick.
@@sebastiaozanardo6987 oi, pode fazer o q quiser com os exercícios do SC. Acentuar o SC foi o q deu origem ao 2o. livro do George Lawrence Stone, o Accents and Rebounds.

Great lesson!! Lots of new info for me. Unfortunately, you lost me this week. I guess I have a lot of homework to get back up to speed. Thank you for posting!!❤❤

Thank you so much! I was trying to understand this and your video helps a ton!

Great lesson!! I love how the new figure sounds, creating space in various parts of the measure. Thanks, Felipe!!❤❤
Thank you for watching. 😁❤️
I bought my very first drum set about 6 months ago. I realize it's not how long I've had the set it's how many hours of practice I've had. I'm trying my best to get the practice in but I get really busy with work. I'm way better now than when I started of course but now I'm seeing that learning drums is almost a life decision. There's so much to learn and it'll take a ton of dedication. I'll have to jump ahead a few videos because I can definitely play this stuff. I just wanted to say thank you. This is a great video for a total beginner.
I'm glad you liked it. I suggest you don't jump ahead, even if you already can play. Drumming is a journey, not a destination, enjoy the journey. I hope you have a good teacher to help you with your progress.
Great lesson!! That sixteenth note of silence sounds amazing!! That definitely makes the drum fills more interesting!! Thanks for showing me that and helping me make my drum fills stop sucking!!❤❤
My pleasure 😁
I'm in my 40's and just starting out on the drums. I'm just doing it for the fun of it. I'm realizing there's soooo much to learn. I have no intentions of playing in a band or anything like that. I just want to be able to jam out to some songs eventually.
Excellent! Welcome to the family, it's an amazing journey. I hope you have a very good teacher.
Subbed. I'll have to go back and watch the previous videos. I've been learning for several months now and I still haven't started working on sticking patterns or rudiments yet. I probably should but this was easy to understand and made sense. Thank you
Como muito bem dizia o Dom Famularo - Excelent
Obrigado 😁
Great lesson!! I thoroughly enjoyed your syncopated rhythms!! And so much fun to play along to! ❤

Easier to only listen. Not to look :)
Why?
@@FelipeDrago It confuce me so much when I see your hands playing different than traditional. :)
Great way you tell and open things. But confuse me too much when you change your hands when playing open hands Wold had been much easier for a beginner like me to shoe the easy way, traditionally. Now I got a feeling of show off. Your so good that you can play open hands. Not a thing for a beginner :(
Thanks for watching. Open-handed isn't advanced, or show-off, it's a way of playing. I never show-off, not my thing. The focus of the video is drum fills. Some people play traditional grip, some people play matched grip, some people play onpen-handed, but this is no the focus. The drum fills are and I start all of them with my right hand.
@@FelipeDrago For me it's so difficult to change leading hand from right to left. Even to see, confuse me when try to see how and when go to a fill. Isn't it so? When you play 2 and 4 with your right hand and not the left hand like in traditional way? For sure it's good to learn to change hand order. Separate hands and foots :D Or are I way far from reality??
@kenne64 I think you're focusing on the wrong thing. In the videos I always mentio that the fills start on the 4th bar. All grooves are simple and I start all fills with my right hand. You don't have to switch hands, play the way you play and focus on the fills. Do you have a drum teacher?
@@FelipeDrago Had a few lessons (shold take a lot more but they are too expensive for me) and now a bass/guitar player who mentor me. Training with him in his studio. Recording everything and try to learn from misstakes.
